It is a story of J.M. Barrie's friendship with a family who inspired him to create the classic, Peter Pan.
It stars Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Radha Mitchell, Dustin Hoffman, and Freddie Highmore. Marc Forster's direction truly deserves applause- it is creative, with frequent journeys into the visually stunning imagination of J.M. Barrie, and extremely touching. The slow decay of J.M's marriage, his bond with the Davies family, and the story of Peter Llewelyn Davies, as he copes with losing his parents and his initiation into the world of writing, are all portrayed with an almost unnatural realism. Freddie Highmore (who also plays Charlie Bucket, in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory) shows remarkable talent at such a young age. I am sure he'll make it big in the industry, and wish him all the best! What did you think of the movie?

Just watched it and absolutely loved it! Didn't like the first movie as much.
Amazing action sequences with Hellboy and Nuada- really cool fight scenes  The new characters are great- Johann Krauss is hilarious, Princess Nuala as Abe Sapien's love interest, Prince Nuada, another bad guy who looks oh so goood! (Hence my sig)  Felt so sorry for Abe- the guy actually falls in love with the Princess, and she dies?!  The funniest scene has to be Red and Blue drinking beer and singing "Can't Smile Without You"!  On the whole, very enjoyable, recommend it to all fantasy and special effects fans. If you have watched it, what did you think?!

When I listen to my fav music, I often find myself breaking up the song and focusing on just one element of the song at a time, So it's like, I listen to the whole song, just listening to the drums. And then I listen to it again, this time just taking in the bass lines, etc.
Just curious, does anyone else do this? Also, how do you best like to listen to you music? While travelling, taking a walk, lying down and drifting off to sleep?! (My fav's the last!) |
