Interests
Music. I love music. So much it's almost impossible to put it into words. We can spend our whole lives searching for a connection with something, anything, but we never realise how often Music is what keeps people sane. It's something that is pure honesty, coming from the deepest regions of a person's soul. You can tell when somebody means what they write and sing. I want to be like that one day. I'm going to be like that one day.

I love my guitar, love writing music. There's a joy to it that I don't find anywhere else. I'm not sporty, or athletic. I like books, and Wikipedia is probably my god, without which I'd have been stumped for definitions of terms and just what somethings are.

I've been watching Mock the Week whenever it's on for the past couple of years now, and I love it. Russel Howard is quite good, but I don't think he deserves his own show.

I gotta say though, I can't stand Andy Parsons. Any guy that tries to get laughs simply by walking by swinging his arms slightly more than normal, with an annoying grin on his face pisses me off, lol.

Anybody else watch it/them?

It's been seventy long years since the events of The Last Olympian, in which the first son of the Sea God, Poseidon, in almost 50 years,Percy Jackson, proved his worth. He is long gone, kept alive only by the whispers of the wind and words etched in stone.

For thousands of years, the Olympian Gods - those of Ancient Greece - have lived among us. Still, they sire children to act for them. Still they are the the ultimate power on Earth.

Zeus sits atop his throne, on Olympus, located on the 600th Floor of the Empire State Building - the Heart of the Western Civilisation. He is surrounded by the thrones of the eleven other Olympians - Hera, Poseidon, Hestia, Aphrodite, Demeter, Apollo, Ares, Artemis, Athena, Hephaestus, and Hermes.

The Children of these gods and godesses are brilliant members of out society, culture, and history. It is common knowledge among the gods that World War II was fought by the children of Zeus, Poseidon and Hades - otherwise known as the "Big Three".

The Big Three took an oath upon the River Styx (an oath that, when broken, means death) to never sire another child again, for their children were far more powerful than those of the other gods. However, as the Big Three - like all gods - were immortal, the consequences of the oath would not pain them, but their children.

Zeus was the first to break the oath. Fathering a daughter named Thalia Grace. It is said that Hades' fury when he discovered Thalia's existence was feared even by the Furies, his greatest and most trusted servents. Hades hunted Thalia, until finally, his minions confronted her and her travelling companions, on the hill overlooking Camp Half-Blood. It was there Thalia almost died, when Zeus took pity on her, and transformed her into a beautiful pine tree.

Several years later, Thalia was revived, and joined Artemis' band of Huntresses. She would never age, and would be free of any threat of monsters (which are drawn to attack Half-Bloods) for eternity.

Seventy years later, Camp Half-Blood carries on as normal, however, but the changes brought by Percy's tale are evident. There are now 28 Cabins, and, while they are very limited, the children of the Big Three are prominent members of the camp. For the Gods saw the actions of Jackson as evidence enough to put aside their oath.

Aside from all the changes, there are still familiar faces. Chiron, the camp activities director (who also happened to train Hercules, among other half-gods), can still be found teaching campers all kinds of things from swordplay to archery, as well as listening to his favourite CD's on his Boombox. The Lord of the Wild, Grover the Satyr, is often found around the camp, munching on used cans and apples. And Mr D, the God Dionysus - who was sent back to be Director of Camp Activities after a bad incident involving a wood-nymph, some rubber bed-clothes, a copy of The Cure's Greatest Hits, and Gene Simmon's bass guitar - is still sulking around as normal, making fun of campers and complaining about everything.

There is still one empty cabin - Cabin 8, home of Artemis. Though right now, that was occupied by Thalia, daughter of Zeus.

Thalia had not aged a single day since the times we last saw her. Her hair was styled the same, and she still sported similar clothes. This did not, however, detract from a large cut across her face. Thalia had been unconcious for a full week, slowly regaining much needed Energy. She had stumbled into the Camp covered in blood and barely concious, her words were nothing but mumbles of "She's gone...they're all gone!"

Chiron sat beside her bunk in his wheelchair (he couldn't get through the door otherwise), when Thalia awoke, her eyes opening suddenly, and her figure bolted upright, almost mechanical with panic - "The hunters of Artemis, they're gone!"

The Hunters of Artemis have gone missing, leaving only Thalia alive, bruised and battered and torn. Any attempt to contact them has been unsuccessful, and nobody knows where they have gone.

The Camp was in disarray, and the only choice left was for a camper to visit the Oracle of Delphi (A beautiful woman who could look into a person's future, athough the prophecies were often unclear until they had come to pass), where they would go with a team of Half-Bloods to try rescue the Satyrs.

Chiron studied the campers suspiciously, before picking out a camper who had already shown promise: Aetos, the Hawk, one of the two children of Zeus.

The Camp seemed to inhale collectively as they began to notice Chiron's gaze. The Centaur had never before picked a wrong candidate for a quest, and this time it would be no different...hopefully.

His storm-green eyes widened with shock, the boy of only 14 had been given his chance to prove worthiness! The look in his eyes was a mixture of joy and absoloute terror.

He entered the Big House - the house where the Oracle lived - and was given his prophecy. When he returned again, he was dreadfullly silent."

So yeah, this is my first time MAKING an RPG, I hope it goes okay.

Right, ground rules. NOBODY is a child of the Big Three. Artemis'' doesn't have children, so that's a no-no too. No spamming Ares characters either. I'd like somebody to help write it too, since I suck at this sort of thing.

Erm...What else? Aside the usual crap, no God-modding, no Mary Sues/ Gary Stu's. I'd like if some people were the children of "minor" gods.

Also, if you're not familiar with the series, it may be a good choice to read up (a bit) on Greek Mythology, since Roman Mythology and Greek Mythology can be pretty confusing at times.

If you have questions about the extra cabins, or anything about the Camp I've (most probably) missed, the list can be found here but I'd watch out for spoilers if you haven't read the series. If the need is dire, I'll write up a list of the Gods

The characters:

Aetos, Son of Zeus - Me
Thalia, Daughter of Zeus - IsidarMithrim
Xander, Son of Poseidon - Vincent
Myra, Daughter of Apollo - bookwormgirl
Aindreas, Satyr - Open

Random evil half-bloods - ^^Eragon^^
Random good half-bloods - Open (Need about two)
Random Wood-nymphs and Satyrs - Open

The more people, the merrier. Since it's a pretty big thing to pull off

More will be explained in the RP, if it gets going.

Are there any Vegetarians out there? I'm considering becoming a vegetarian, but I want to know a little about the lifestyle first, before I make any serious choices.

What made you become a Vegetarian?
How do you get your needed supplies of Protein and Iron?
Meat may be off the table, but does Poultry count? Fish? Eggs?
How did your family react?
How did your friends react?
Were there any significant difficulties in school, or work, finding food?
Did you start cooking for yourself? Or did your family continue to cook for you?
If you started cooking for yourself, how/where did you learn how?
Where do you get any ingredients? How did you pay for them?
How (if it does) does being a Veggie affect you in your day-to-day life? Does it affect eating out with friends, buying clothes (such as leather) or any other activity?
How did you get all your information on being a Vegetarian? I've used Wikipedia, but I'd rather get a more personal account, any ideas where I can?

To anybody and everybody who replies with constructive comments, thanks

I heard about this about a year ago from my R.E teacher, Mr Bell. In our 55 minute period, we witnessed (for me) the most heart-wrenching, agonizing and touching video I've ever seen in my whole life.

Regardless of how well I can explain it, everybody should see the video. Spread the word, and let everybody know about the horrors committed by Joseph Kony.

I also went to the Rescue event, in Edinburgh. Which was a 3 mile walk and camped out for the night to be "rescued" by a notable person. It was an amazing night, and our group was the biggest single group there, among the 200+ "protestors"

Invisble Children has changed my life, seeing the video has been one of the few times I've ever said "I need to help this cause." the whole time I was wondering "What if that was my kid?" or "What if that was me, how would my parents feel?"

The Video

It's a long video, but I swear it is worth it.
