Thorn is Murtaugh's dragon, right? That's actually kind of funny, because Sapphira insinuates that whenever Eragon gets into a relationship, her feelings will be interwined. If we correlate this with the riders, that means Eragon will be lusting after Murtaugh... I don't blame him, but still. I don't feel that is very Paolini-esque.

I think it's too early to talk about love for Nasuada and Murtagh.....But I am sure that they felt something when they met and if they live after Galbatorix they will end up together..

With everything that happens in Eldest and Brisingr, I'm extremely intrigued to see what'll become of his feelings for Nasuada, what with her wanting to kill him and all!

I'm surprised he was so taken with her in the first place, and after just one visit she made! What could have happened there?

But I don't know if they should get together, might end up being kind of cheesy.

I don't say there's no chance they will get together, but I wouldn't say Murtagh ever had feelings for Nasuada. He saw her, liked her, that's all. At least until now.

Really?! How do you explain his behaviour after they met? He wasn't just casually appreciative of her. When he was talking to Eragon about her, he went kind of wierd didn't he? I thought he was all dreamy and starry-eyed!

It all depends on how you interpret the things he said. We didn't get his POV about Nasuada, so we don't know for sure what he feels or feels not.

Anyway, he was undoubtedly enthusiastic about Nasuada, but I wouldn't say he certanly had real feelings for her. We don't know that.

Ok, if not having 'feelings' for her, at least I think he sort of felt she was familiar, or like he reminded her of someone or something like that.

I am with you exept for the Saphira and Thorn part...
I know it isen't Thorn's fault that he turned against Eragon but still... i don't think Saphira's ready to apolagize to Thorn so fast...

I think that she really cares about him, and I don't think she'd be able to kill him. Remember how love can change a true name? I think that Murtagh and Nasuada will be like Brom and Selena. His love will change him for good. Personally I think they kissed the first time they met. Guys don't get as giddy as girls when they just have a crush, something has to happen, and Nasuada wouldn't go farther then a kiss. I think that they probably had more then one visit, and Nasuada must have had something to do with Murtagh being allowed to fight in the battle of Farthen Dur. I don't think Ajihad really wanted Murtagh to fight, I don't think the idea even crossed his mind, but then Nasuada convinced him. She feels guilty about that because if he hadn't fought he would not have been captured. I think there is a future for them, and I hope Murtagh lives.

I think they have a thing for each other definatly but I don't think anything has happened yet. I do agree however that it will turn out like Brom and Selena which would be awesome because Murtagh would be good. Then it would distroy Galbatorix because he wouldn't have a rider anymore. Eragon and Murtagh would join sides and defeat him.
