"What Allie?" Kim replied.
"What are we supposed to wear to school?" asked Allie.
"Whatever you want, they have us change into robes on the train." she answered.
"Okay thanks." Allie said.
Allie Meade and Kim Hoffmann are two eleven year old girls living in England's countryside. Both are about to begin a journey they will never forget. Two best friends going to Hogwarts for the very first time. Tomorrow they're going to Diagon Alley to get that they need for the upcoming year.
Both girls are average sized for their age. Allie has beautiful brown shoulder length hair. She has huge blue eyes that change different shades of blue, green, and gray all the time. Kim has red shoulder length hair that has natural streaks of blonde, brown, and many other colors. Allie said she even saw purple in it once. Kim has blue/green eyes that change just like Allie's do, except hers change to shades of blue, green, gray, and once they were silver. Both have freckles splashed across their faces, but Kim is covered in them, they aren't too noticable though.
Allie was bound to be put in Ravenclaw. Her father, grandparents, great-grandparents, and so on have all been in Ravenclaw. Her mother, however, is a muggle. This makes Allie a half-blood, which definately ruled out her chances of being in Slytherin. She is very happy about that. Kim on the other hand comes from a pure-blood family, there aren't any muggles or even half-bloods in her family tree. Every one of her family members has been sorted into Slytherin and she will likely be put there too. The Meades and the Hoffmanns didn't care too much that their daughters are friends, but they still don't talk to one another because of their blood status.
"I am so excited about Hogwarts!" Allie exclaimed.
"Yea, me too and guess who's gonna be there." Kim said hinting at something.
"Who?" Allie asked playing dumb.
"Ron Weasley...you know you are practically in love with him." Kim said jokingly.
"Look who's talkin'. Miss I am either in love or just overly obsessed with Draco Malfoy." Allie said smiling and chuckling a bit.
"Just in love...I'm not a stalker." Kim replied.
Both girls were "in love" Allie with Ron Weasley and Kim with Draco Malfoy. Allie, Kim, and Ron have been friends since they were three years old and they have hung out almost everyday since then. The Meades and the Weasleys are very close. But the Weasleys and the Hoffmanns are a completely different story, they hate each other. Kim unlike her parents doesn't bug the Weasleys about blood status and whether they are as filthy as a mudblood because they associate with them, so they like her. Kim's parents and Draco's parents have been friends forever and they often have to attend secret "meetings" together, leaving Kim and Draco alone at the Malfoy Manor with Draco's Aunt Bellatrix babysitting.
"Too bad we aren't allowed to got to Diagon Alley together to get our stuff." said Allie frowning.
"Yea, I know, my parents don't want to get caught dead with your family because you guys are like filthy or something." said Kim jokingly, even though that's what her parent really think.
"Oh yes and yours are just the kindest peopel ever." Allie said sarcastically.
The two girls talked and joked for an hour at least and at six o'clock it is time for dinner. Kim is eating at Allie's tonight along with the Weasleys. Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, Kim, and Allie all ate in the living room because of the very limited space at the dinner table.
"So, Ron we obviously know what house you're going to be in." said Fred smiling.
"Yea, whoever hasn't figured it out is a complete git." George siad grinning at Fred.
"Now Miss Allison and Miss Kimberly hopefully we expect the same from you?" asked Fred.
"Well as long as there are no Slytherins in the room I think I'll be alright." George announced.
''I'm going to be in Ravenclaw." Allie told them. "But...she" she pointed at Kim.
"Wow you guys. You know I'm going to be in Slytherin." Kim said in a 'duh are you stupid?' sort of way.
"Oh yea your family is as evily disgusting as the Malfoys. Except we like you, you're lucky otherwise I'd I kick you out of this house myself." George said punching his hand.
"Well thanks, I'm glad someone likes me." Kim said grinning.
"Don't worry even if no one else like you I still would." Ginny said kindly.
"So would I." said Allie.
"God guys I was only kidding." George said.
"Well geez George, come on, some peopel are sesitive about this stuff." Ron said with a smirk.
"Alright, alright watch I'll make everything all better" George said giving Kim a hug. "I thought a hug would be better than a kiss." George laughed.
"Yes it is. I greatly appreciate it." she said giggling.
"Boys! Ginny!" a voice yelled from the kitchen.
"Yes mum?" the Weasley kids screamed in unison.
"Time to go, big day tomorrow." said Mrs. Weasley.
"Coming mother." said Ron.
All four Weasley children got up from the table and said goodbye to Kim and Allie.
"See you guys soon!" Allie yelled. "So, when do you have to go home?" she asked.
"Well Draco's Aunt is meeting me at the corner in..." Kim said checking the clock. "five minutes."
"You're not going home?" Allie asked puzzled.
"Not right away, my parents have another meeting tonight so I have to go to Draco's" said Kim sounding pleased.
"I guess that makes you happy."
"Yes, very much and you had the biggest smile on your face the whole time Ron was here."
"Yea, I know, he's just so cute."
"So is Draco."
"Speaking of Draco," Allie said checking the time, "don't you have to go now?"
"Yup, I better get goin'." Kim stood up and gave Allie a quick hug. "I'll see you tomorrow night maybe?"
"Maybe, bye!"
"Bye!" Kim yelled back as she walked out the front door. She walked down the street under a setting sun. She rwached the corner where she was to meet Bellatrix. She only needed tow wait a minute before Bella appeared next to her.
