So I see the majority of graphicers here use Photoshop or GIMP, but I'm curious why no one uses paint.NET. Is it simply unheard of, or does everyone find GIMP and PS better? Just curious ...

You don't change, I'd never change. Why would I change when PDN doesn't have smudge/burn/dodge? I use both, make them work together. Having both allows me to use PDN and GIMP's positives while not making their negatives a problem.

Gimp has a negative? (Kidding).
I feel stupid...but what is PDN?

I think it was originally created as an update for Microsoft Paint. But then it good too good. XD So now it got a lot of stuff a regular gfx program would have, minus the smudge/dodge/burn. It has a wide cariety of filters as well.
