Haha, I finally decided to start a photography gallery for myself. I've been meaning to for a long, long time, but I never really got around to it.

Alright, so these next few I took in Washington D.C., because it's an awesome place, and marble buildings are sexy.
This one is either a picture of a church or a private school there.

And, the wonderful bricks at the Library of Congress.

And something else at the Library of Congress

This one.... I was just kind of goofing off, but I really like how it turned out.

This one is quite old, but I love how it turned out. Same with the next one. They're both taken at a lake near where I live.

Last spring's flowers... God I wish it were spring again.

Well, that's all I'm going to post for now. My computer is going crazy because of all the images that photobucket just had to try to eat from it.

Those are some really good pictures! The picture of the steeple rising on the private school, the city street lights and the last flower are my favorites.

I've been to D.C. as well, and it was awesome. But, I was young when I went so don't remember the specific look of the buildings, plus I only visited half the places and it wasn't even a year after September 11th, 2001, so half the places were closed or swarmed with security.

But, nice photos! I'd love to see some more. thumbsup.gif

All of these pictures are fairly old... I'll probably post more as I take them. Right now it's kind of hard to take any good photos because it's that really icky part of winter where all the snow is starting to melt so it's all wet and muddy everywhere, and the sun is only halfway up in the sky at noon, so it's a little challenging to either take nice looking pictures or find any motivation to because it's just so gross out.

It's like that up where I live too. It sucks. I wish I had a camera. But, I hardly even know what kind or make of camera to get.

I love to take pictures though, I wish I could take some of stars that come out during winter here, but you need some light converter that telescopes have in order to get good quality I think.

I'd love to see the new stuff! When do you think you'll get around to posting those?

I'll pos them when my computer isn't acting as much like it wants to commit suicide.

Hah! My computer decides to do that, as well as random shut downs. But, it's fairly old and very junky, so I just scream at it until it decides to work.

Great pictures. It is my favorite place (for obvious reasons).

Wow, Anya - you're quite the photographer! I especially like the one with the columns, the slow exposure one with all the lights, and the two flower pictures. Very nice!

Wow, you're quite good at photography--I particularly like the light one and the second lake picture; reflections are fun.

And the picture of the cathedral/school is way awesome--I wish there were more gothic-type churches near me. I would love to go to a school that had a cathedral...

Cool pictures, I like them much. What type of camera do you have?

^Kodak Z7590 digital. It's not the best, but it gets the job done. My dad has a Cannon Eios that I sometimes get to use. I think all of the pictures that I've got up now were taken with my Kodak.

You're good at this, Anya. I hope I can be as good as you at photography someday.

Woot, another photo from some touristing! This I took last May at the Calgary Zoo, and I'd forgotten to put it up with the others, but I had to, because I love it.
