Critism is good, and i love to get critiqe on my writing or on my newly found "talent" sig making but i have noticed that ther is SOME of you that needs a little lesson in constructive critisism.
Rule nr 1: If you want to critiqe somebody elses work start with something positive, if you don't find anything positve to say be honest but gentle.
Rule nr 2: If you want to suggest changes or stuff that makes the work better explain how you are thiking and, if the artist or writer is new at the game, explain the steps. An absolute DONT is to write "Bad lighting, fix the lighting" cause the artist won't really know if you mean brightness or colour of the supernovas or whatever you mean with lighting, therefore be as specific as you can because we can't read eatchothers minds.
Rule nr 3: Be gentle..whatever you do, especially at beginners. IF however the artist him/herself says they want brutality, give them what they ask, but ALLWAYS end the critqe witha good note.
That is what i can think of for this second. These rules also roughly apply to writers and their work, I guess most of you are to young yet but when you get to were i am (i'm 24) and goes to University u'll find that constructive critism is a must in almost all educations, especially in the humanist area (litterature, theater, culture ect) and it'sd recuierd when you write sientific essays.
