CHAPTER ONE
The sound of metal on metal filled the room as the bolt on the door was pulled back. The large metal door opened and two people walked in, a nurse with a small cup and a guard carrying a large baton.
The Nurse walked over the the straitjacketed figure sitting cross-legged in the corner of the padded room while the guard stood at the door, ready to pounce is the figure tried to attack.
"Take these." Mumbled the nurse and held the small cup of pills to the figure's mouth.
He open his mouth and let the nurse pour the pills into his mouth.
"Swallow." commanded the nurse, the figure sat there and did nothing, "Swallow." repeated the nurse.
The guard stepped into the room and began walking over the the nurse and the figure.
The figured leaped up and charged, lifting the nurse up on his shoulder and slamming her into the guard before slamming the pair into the wall.
Our Mystery-man then spat out the pills at the pair and walked out of the room.
He entered the corridor and looked around. Moonlight shone in through the windows of the mental asylum and there was no one in sight. The only guard at this time of night was unconscious in his room.
The man walked down the hallway, as he did his sleeve caught on one of the barred windows. He then used the jagged edge of the barred window to cut open his jacket just enough to get one arm free. After undoing the straitjacket he walked back to his room.
He looked at the tangle of limbs on the floor and a bright light caught his eye. The Guard's keys. He would need these. The man took off the guard's belt and fastened it around his own waist. He then left the room again, this time closing and locking the door.
Walking down the hallway in and out of patches of moonlight he grinned.
The man arrived at the door to the ward and used the guard's keys to unlock it. He walked out, once more closing the door behind him.
He walked down the stairs and came out on the ground floor. The guard booth was near the front door, and inside the booth sat the last guard the man would see. The man walked out the side of the corridor, hiding in the shadows until he reached the guard both. He snuck in, baton at the ready and walked right behind the guard.
SMACK
The man brained the guard, knocking him out with one swing from the baton.
The man stood tall and walked to the front doors, opening them he walked out onto a busy street. He walked to a phone booth and put in a reverse charge call.
"Ring, ring."
The person on the other side of the phone picked up, "Hello?"
"Aaron, I'm out." The man said into the phone.
"Its good to hear from you, Mike. I'll come pick you up."
END CHAPATER.
Author's notes;
A little confusing, yes. But even though it was clear who it was, I felt like writing it that way.
This is pooop, I know it is, but it's my first story and I'm hoping that I get better as I write. Plus, it's hard writing when you can't reveal your main character's name until the end of chapter.
Its just an idea I had that I thought I might throw out there.
There will be more.
