Wow, that was much better than mine. I suggest making the text a little bigger. Also, it is basically rip-fodder, so put your name on it. Other than that, someone would have troubl believing that is your first try. It is very good!

TBH, no one would really rip that sig, lol.

It's pretty good for your first, but since it's about P!nk, you get a million points, that song is awesome.

I can't really say anything much, beyond telling you to read some tutorials, because they'll definitely help. If you need help finding them, just ask. Adapt the tuts to your own sig, try not to follow them exactly. SO, keep working, and hope to see some more soon!

I've certainly seen far worse first sigs, though there are two things I can tell you right now that will help.

Undistorted lens flares are (except for a VERY limited number of circumstances) a bad idea, the gradient was enough to light it there, there are different, better effects that can be used through practice and earlier tutorials.

Second thing is the use of Kristen ITC. Also a nono xD, it's not even the best kiddy-style font (and I personally hate those style of fonts), and the signature isnt colourful and "bouncy" enough to really warrant that kind of font. Elegant is better mostly, try to avoid overworked fonts, and go for simple but very sleek fonts (like the "it's beefy" text in BS's sig, which is an example of a sans-serif font, or the "mtbanger" in my sig, which is a serif font [though mine is pretty poor text]).

That is quite good for you first attempt at a signature. The one advice i will give you that someone gave me when i started my work in graphics is to make sure you credit yourself. I know it seems silly but let people know its yours, whether it be with initials, a first name, or a forum alias, make it your own. And if you find making gaphics fun just keep on playing with them, you will get better the more and more you work with them.
