Well more manipulation from me.

A picture I found on the internet that reminded me of Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr. I brightened it up and added some highlights

I like the last one, the brightening and highlights seem to work very well. Your sig seems a little awkward because the pictures were stretched out of proportion, and the blending looks a little strange. It looks like what you did is put Thorn is on a layer above Glaedr, and blurred the edge of Thorn - it might work a little better if you were to put them on the same layer, combined as one bitmap, and then blur the edge.
