Hey everyone, you may have been wondering why the graphics section disappeared for a while, and also what all this reorganization is about, so here's the scoop:
Graphics had several dead weight forums that had very minimal activity, but also contained a lot of valuable material that was just getting missed because of the low traffic. There was also a weird disparity in the views per forum. The main Graphics forum was getting only a few views, while Showcase was getting well over ten times as much.
So what we've done is bring showcase and discussion together into the main Graphics forum. We've also moved the few active Resource discussions into the main forum as well. This way, people are able to access discussion and resource topics along with showcase threads, and not miss out.
We've also combined Battles and SOTW. Battles was really slow, so we figured that we'd keep the most recent SOTWs in the main forum, and get some cross exposure for the two different (yet very closely related) activities.
The requests and resources forum is a thing of the past. It used to see more active days, but not so much anymore. We've brought the two active shops into the Requests forum, which has now been made into a subforum of Graphics directly. Hopefully, this will make requests more visible for both people making them and members answering them. The 50 post limit still stands. This is because we want to make Graphics requests a privilege to contributing members, as we previously experienced issues with people joining, requesting graphics, and then ever returning.
On top of that, we've brought everything up to date by archiving the really really ancient topics from 2007 and such.
If you have any questions, post here.

I have a question, if all of the resources are in the main forum now, won't they disappear from all of the tags and such being posted?
so shouldn't resources, even if they would get very few views, still have it's own forum?
I never thought of this before because before I wasn't looking for them, but now that I am, I noticed this slight problem.

What do you mean by 'disappearing from all the tags?'
There wasn't originally a resources subforum. It was created when Graphics was experiencing a high level of activity and it warranted its own subforum. Before I reorganized Graphics, I went to archive by date, and according to that system, all but two of the topics in Resources would get put in the archive, so it was pointless to have a section where none but two of the topics had been updated in the last year or more.
With a consolidated forum, they will get more attention when they are posted. We just haven't had much posting of resource packs or tutorials lately.
