Since I have no friends and I have endless free time on my hands, I bought myself and iTouch.

And not soon after buying it I found this delightful little app called "Brushes", which is not much more than glorified MS Paint, but it's simplicity allows for my experimentation and lulz

A crazy humanoid dragon thingy

Frost Nymph -notdoneyetkthx
<img src="http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/Bartimeaus/frost-nymph.png" border="0" class="linked-image" />

A gargoyle that is not done yet
<img src="http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/Bartimeaus/ohai.png" border="0" class="linked-image" />

If you have an iTouch/iPhone, please, for the love of the Internet Gods, get this app and make some arts and share!

That is very good! I think your first one was the best. The shading and pose are both great.
I thought about getting a sig, but I suck at making them. So I decided I wasn't going to make a sig...

Why thank you. :3 I was drawing it in the middle of my Engrish class when we were discussing the difference between penance and penatence. So it's kinda of a shadow beasty giving penance for past atrocities it has committed.

Brilliant work. Did you ever see how you'd do with just pencil and paper?

FABULOUSSSSS!!

Of course I do.

I have art up at the local mall, it's a watercolor landscape. P: I'd love to share some of the other drawings and paintings I've done, and I will eventually.

Is that a challenge? Do you dare dispute my honor? FOOLISH MORTAL, YOU SHALL EAT YOUR WORDS AS SOON AS I FIND I CAMERA A CAN OPERATE. brb

Yes, I question your abilities!

I'd love to see watercolor paintings from you. I admire those a lot because I can't work well with it myself. Plus, we'd actually see some of your finished work.

As of now, theres not much to give critique on because they are just sketches for now.

FABULOUSSSSS!!

They are very good. I really like how you did the shading and the way the dark contrasts the light. It really brings depth into the drawings.

Like Pixel, I would love to see your watercolor paintings. Watercolor is one of my favorite mediums to work with.

It's funny that you would bring up that they are incomplete, to be honest, I don't think I've ever really finished drawing a single thing in my life. It's sort of a phobia I guess, that can be worded as "O hay, this is pretty nice so far, I better stop so I don't mess up". It's an impairing thought that applies to me in almost every way, I just leave things half done. I know, I suck.

I wish I had the watercolor back to show, but It'll be at the mall for and indefinite amount of time. Sorry. :(

Edit: the watercolor too, is incomplete. x(

Still looking for that camera, I found a few paintings in the back of my car. :D

These are very good. I like the first picture in the second batch you posted, it looks the most finished and the face has great detail. I don't quite know what it is though. sorry.

It is always the same for me too. I never seem to be able to complete an actual painting without cringing constantly until it is done. If it ever does get done that is. I had bad experiences with a couple of sketches that I put a lot of time into, so now I'm a completely paranoid.

Oooooh! I know exactly how you feel, it drives to up the wall sometimes, recently I have just given in to it. I think it is because of a similar experience to yours, either I put a lot of work into something and it didn't get the attention I think it deserved, or something I slopped together and people regard it as "great art". But all of those I've posted, I've put my heart into.
