Maybe Christopher Paolini is going to follow a Star Wars trend and make Arya, Eragons Sister.

Maybe Brom and Islanzadi had a fling at one point.

Some clues in the story could point to that.

1. Angela foretold an epic romance that might not have a happy ending. (One sided Romance)
2. Brom was given the Yawe ring, by Islanzadi and she was sad at his death.
3. When Eragon in Eldest made the Fairth, Oromis said Eragon and Arya could not be.
4. Paolini hint at Eastcroft in Brisingr (She is not alone for she is my sister ?)
5. Paolini hint in Geneology chapter of Brisingr when Eragon learned Brom was his father he asked
"Do I have any other siblings you are not telling me about", Oromis did not answer that.

I hope it does not turn out to be this, I would like to see Arya and Eragon get together.
I think it would kill the story somewhat if this happend

Intriquing idea, but Arya is obviously not half human...

If that were the case, it would leave the story open for a new romance, although it would be a little harder to develop fully in just the last book. I personally don't think Arya is scarcely related to Eragon.

1. An epic romance could also mean that it takes sometime before they come together other wise it wouldn't be very epic.
2. Didn't Islanzadi give Brom the Yawe ring because he tried to save her husband and for all the work he did killing off the rest of the foresworn.
3. I think Oromis said that because of Eragon and Saphira bond links them together especially during any intimate contact.
4. Eragon told those men that too get rid of them.
5. I don't think Brom was the type to run around sleeping with alot of women. He was very angry when his dragon was killed so he was off getting his revenge.

Arya is over 100 years old. Brom was like in his 40's or 50's. Not really sure how the queen and Brom would have gotten together 50's some years before he was even born.

Actually, Brom is more than 100 years old because Arya was born near the Fall of the Riders which happened like 100 years ago, and Brom was already a proper dragon rider by then...

Seriously if CP did this then he would be one of the biggest idiots known to mankind.

His work is already heavily criticised for being similar to Star Wars and this would be one step to far.

One other hint from Christopher Paolini to ponder is, If you listen to the interview with Christopher Paolini that is on the end of Disc 10 of the Brisingr audiobook. (Non Unabridged by Kerry Shale). Not sure where else this interview is.

Christopher Paolini talks about the titles of the books he says they are based on what Eragon
Inherits. In Eldest Eragon inherits Murtagh the Eldest member of their family
"Or so they think" as quoted from the Interview.

I think it would be idiotic for Christopher Paulini to make Arya another Leia Organa. As well as that, is she half human? No, she said before that she is Evander's daughter. Your theory is intriguing, but I don't see it happening.

It won't. Let us analyze your points one by one.

1) Romance means a relationship between two lovers.
2) As it has been already stated, Arya is an full elf and has already been shown to be Evandar and Islanzadi's daughter. She is not half human or some hybrid like Eragon is.
3) Oromis said to Eragon that a union between the two of them is impossible due to "(his) own youth, culture, race, and responsibilities." Nothing to suggest that they are related.
4) Eragon just used that as an excuse for the men to leave them alone. That wasn't CP's way of hinting that they are related.
5) That is because he was not asking Oromis that question, he was asking Saphira.

Eragon and Murtagh are related because they share the same mother, not father. Since Islanzadi is Arya's mother, then she cannot be Murtagh's sibling because they do not share the same mother or father and thus are not related in any way. So logically speaking, it cannot be Arya. It is someone else. You need not worry about CP doing something utterly that ridiculous and stupid.

Some of us must be bored. This is the worst, most disgusting theory I have read since...well that Harry and Hermione were related and oh yeah....and that Eragon and Saphira are going to be lovers.
