Maybe Christopher Paolini is going to follow a Star Wars trend and make Arya, Eragons Sister.

Maybe Brom and Islanzadi had a fling at one point.

Some clues in the story could point to that.

1. Angela foretold an epic romance that might not have a happy ending. (One sided Romance)
2. Brom was given the Yawe ring, by Islanzadi and she was sad at his death.
3. When Eragon in Eldest made the Fairth, Oromis said Eragon and Arya could not be.
4. Paolini hint at Eastcroft in Brisingr (She is not alone for she is my sister ?)
5. Paolini hint in Geneology chapter of Brisingr when Eragon learned Brom was his father he asked
"Do I have any other siblings you are not telling me about", Oromis did not answer that.

I hope it does not turn out to be this, I would like to see Arya and Eragon get together.
I think it would kill the story somewhat if this happend

Not only would that be weird, I think it would kill some of the story with themfighting alongside each other.

I agree with you, shurtugal master. And in your posts, write in normal spelling and grammar, not "text language." It's part of the rules. eragonawesome.gif eragonawesome2.gif

Never in a million years. Arya was originally concieved as the goddess of CP's wet dream, she will NOT become Eragon's sister....because that's incest.

No, Arya cannot be Eragons sister, because Arya is elf and Eragon is human, well was human.

There are only two problems with this: Arya is a full elf. Eragon is a full human. Ergo, They CANNOT POSSIBLY be related.

erm, can I just say NO!. this is wrong/weird/totally off the mark in so many levels. I feel confindent in saying an absolute here- this will not happen. I know this, call it my intution if you will- or just not being plain idiotic to atually think that after 3 whole books, the typical protagonist will not get his 'fair madien' after his 'quest' to beseech the world of evil!
1. The whole star wars brother/sister happend in the first novel.
2. I think it would be known if that while Islanzadi and Evandar were mates, Islanzadi went off with Brom. Im sure she has told Arya who her father is anyway in the AL
3. I think that the only other 'sibiling' Oromis may have been talking about would maybe be Nasuada( but still very doubtfull, onkly the fact that she reamins motherless hasme intrigied)
4. Oromis only meant that Arya and him were wrong for each other not syblings
5. CP likes to leave us hints, he has left none so far

This is already obviously impossible. The parents are different. Eragon was a human and Arya has always been an elf. They arent even the same species *hint*. You already knew the answer before you made this topic. There are some similarities between Star Wars and inheritence but fundamentally the books are different in very different ways.

There are too many similarities between IC and SW and frankly we do not need more. It's not at all likely and like so many other people have said they are of different races. Not to insult you or anything but it's just absolutely impossible.

No. The poster means our Eragon. Although either way, tis impossible, as Eragon I would be ancient, even when compared to Oromis. >_>

I think that if Eragon found out Arya is his sister he would either commit suicide(probably not because Saphira would have to die as well,Leave Alagasiea(...), turn on the Varden and fight for Galbatorix. So I honestly hope this theory doesn't come to pass.

A) Please fix up your grammar. How that post should have looked according to IF's rules:

QUOTE
They already said Arya's dad was the old Elf King that died, so that is already impossible. And if it was true, it would ruin the whole series and I would never want anything to do with it again. thumbdown.gif

See how much better that looks? awesome-old.gif Now I understand this might be harder to accomplish with some, but you can at least try, yes? Like maybe use the shift key every once in a while? Or a comma? Thanks.

B) This is impossible. We have no evidence Brom even knew Islanzadi before the fall. In fact, at that time he was a young Rider, we don't know if he had been to Ellesmera at all. He became and elf friend after the fall and after Arya's birth.
