I don't think CP would have developed Eragon's feelings for Arya and made it obvious that they'll have "an epic romance", if he meant for them to be siblings.

It's ridiculous....
 Arya Eragon's sister?? this makes me laugh...Arya is an elf,her parents are Evandar and Islandzadi...Eragon is a human and his parents are Selena and Brom.Also Islandzadi has no reason to do something with Brom...so Arya Eragon's sister?? No way!!

Absolutely not, we already know both of their origins. Arya is daughter of Queen Islanzadi and King Evander and Eragon is son of Brom and Selena. We also know that Eragon was human before he made contact with the dragons, so he wasn't born as an half-elf but made as one.
