Would love some feedback.

Wow! Your good. You add good details.
My favorite has to be the flower with the butterfly.
If anyone is interested. I updated my art thread.

These are spectacular!! My favorite is definitely the last flower. The horse is second, then the flower with the butterfly. I found it was too geometrical, I think; though it's better than anything I could ever paint. unworthy.gif

Thanks!
The flower was definitely the hardest for me. It is so against my usual style. I am usually really precise, but that flower is alot looser than it looks in the picture. But it is one of my favorites. It is sitting in a store waiting to be bought... stupid economy, making people not want to buy art...

I would say the horses mouth looks a bit odd, a bit square?

The horse is my favorite, without a doubt.

But yeah, the head does seem a little bit square - of course, it could depend on the angle, or even the breed of horse, I think.

Yeah. The picture I was using as a reference was a little wired... it might be the breed of horse, but I don't know. I realized it looked really square AFTER I traced it with microns (that's what I get for doing most of my drawing at like 2 in the morning)... so I decided to run with it as opposed to trashing the whole thing and starting over... not to mention that was the first horse I have ever drawn in its entirety.

I really like them, great colours and texture, The only thing I would crit on is that the shaiding technique looks a little odd on the horse's left leg.
How long have you been doing this?

Well... I have been drawing all my life. I have never taken a formal DRAWING class... like ever. Now, I have been taking some private painting classed from a woman named Jan Kirkly for the last 8 months... so I have been painting for 8 months. I am still working on technique (hence the funky shading) and I am really trying to develop my own personal style. I have some other sketches that I am going to post soon, and personally... I like some of those better. I also have a few more recent paintings I am working on... these paintings are from around Christmas time... so I have made some improvements in my technique... I will have to get some of those on here as well...

But yeah... I have only been painting for about 8 months.

Ok... here's a few more paintings and some sketches too.

The sketches are... I don't know... I really need some feedback on the sketches... I cannot tell if they are any good or not... I like them... but I need some brutal honesty from outside sources...

Your pictures look really good, I can't wait to take a closer look later. Then I'll give you some proper feedback. I just post now to point out that you don't need to wrap your pictures in code tags. It's enough to have the [img][/img] around the links, not the
 too.
