hi. i was wondering about writting a book, a fiction sci-fi themed book, thats isnt to far away from the inheritance. since you guys like this kind of stories id thought id present it to you.

i havnt thought it throught much (the title i thought of on the spot)
but anyway

the main chracter is living in present day england, he isnt a wierd person nor a popular person. but he has a way of getting into trubble alot.
anyway he likes sci-fi books and loves the idea of magic. one day on his way to a selfdefense class
he stops by a wierd alley that hes never notived before and inside he sees a human dressed in robes chanting and by doing this grows into a 8 foot red monster.
as the monster turns to him and ataks him he faints wakes up at home...(getting bored) old guy vistis ,says he saved him, tells him magic exists. and that to do magic you must comunicate with beings called jinn and kind of control them...yata yata yata... learns how to do it. has to face an extremely powerful jinn who is taking over the wprld slowly...yata yata yata

so that is a very basic story line. i know its not much to work with but..
do you think this coulde make a good story, or not. anhycritism is welcome andy ideas welcome too
