Anybody read this? Great book.
I constantly reread it and I think a movie adaption would be almost TOO perfect for this book.
Already at over 40 rereads. If anybody else read it, I would like your thoughts about it

I love that book! You're right, a movie about it would be great. My friend told me a sequel is coming out, it's going to be called Catching Fire.

really? When is it coming out? I knew it was a series but not that a sequel would be coming out. *google time*
Edit : But about the sequel, where can it go? I gues they can leda a rebellion against the capitol...

I'm pretty sure Catching Fire comes out in September in the US.

I only read The Hunger Games, once. But it was intriguing. If there's going to be any rebellion against the Capitol (sp?), it'll be in the third book, probably, since she did say its a trilogy, right? A climax needs to be built up properly.

I love The Hunger Games. I've got my younger brother reading it now.
I had no idea she wrote Gregor the Overlander too. The aforementioned little brother reads those, and raves about them. I wonder if he's realized it yet...

The Gregor the Overlander series was really good, except I didn't like the way she wrapped the last one up.

And yeah, I liked the Hunger Games ).gif But I don't like Peeta much.

I loved the book! I can not wait for Catching Fire. Too bad I have to work on the first of september. Maybe I can call in sick or something. My favorite part was when she blew up the pyramid with the food supplies. Or when they tried to commit suicide. Or when Peeta found out that she was just acting a part of her affection. And I absolutely LOVE the way it ended. With a kiss? Just... so awesome! [/gush]

There are soem parts just MADE for the movies. Like at the end, SPOILERS!!!,
When peeta is in the ER and she's banging on the glass
-Also, Rue's 4 note solos and mockingjays
-Training
-Parading in fire
-I shot bREAD!!!
-Alll the killing, ugh

The casting would have to be really good. I would hatea my image of these characters to be ruined.

Now you mention it, yeah, it really is movie material. Is there any actual plan to make a movie adaptation? That might be nice to see, if they don't botch it up.
