Any Preference on how the image is constructed/made? (If yes, say what): Offset the mech to the right. Have the color transition from lighter on the left to darker on the right, and have the muzzle flash kinda "illuminate" the dark. As for style, I've commissioned mainly tech-ish stuff before, but I'm considering going with an organic look. Ultimately, I'll leave style to artist's choice. Mostly

What you don't want on your image: No grunge.

Wow.. I can't believe they ignored this. XD I'll try my best, but I'm no expecrt with the GIMP. Do explain how you want us to offset the tech?

Perhaps I was too demanding. Hm.

Now that I look at it, offsetting wouldn't really work that well. I suppose you could just ignore that part of my request.

Kari, I will undertake the epic Mech signature (though feel free to try your hand, especially if my internet crashes and I disappear for days). Never fear SMJ it will be done! However I have to question the 'organic' idea...

This comes to mind and doesn't really seem to fit with the butt kicking robotic awesomeness of a decked out 'Mech. But we'll see what happens...

That's actually very nice... although if the shape of the 'Mech was more defined, it would be much better. Bit too blurry right now.
