You can reduce the opacity of a layer in the Layers toolbar (generally on the right). It's a slider near the top.

Thank you. Here is another attempt at a sig. I just did it since the last time I posted. I tried to do a little better with the color here.
 I just read about C4D, and I tried one, but it did not work out good. Is there a good set of brushes I can download for mac? Another good sig but I don't like it as much, the colour scheme and render quality kills it. Brushes for mac eh? Try Deviantart.com the no.1 site for brushes, the best site ever for any resources for any kind of art. just type in c4d brushes or c4d brush set there should be a few for mac, if there aren't make an account (If you dont have one) and pm them to do it, 90% of the time they will be more then helpful. I think you should raise the opacity of the render, it loses focus and looks a bit messy with it too translucent.

 Here is an edited Trunks. I would say that so far this is my favorite one.  Okay, maybe this one is my favorite. So what do you think about these? So far these are all the same style. Once I learn GIMP more I will branch out. Could someone that has a mac post a link for a set of brushes.
