Until now, there's nobody who's been acting suspiciously, like the Twins did in the first book. Spies don't usually act suspiciously, otherwise they would be horrible at their job. -------------------- "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" - Arthur C. Clark

Did you guys ever consider one of the dwarves in that one dwarf clan (can't remember the name) that got exiled. Even though they are exiled and all, the dwarf could definitely provide Galby with alot of resourceful info about the varden from what they've heard through the dwarf meetings up until the point they were exiled. He/ she would definitely have the motive to do so as they're whole clan was exiled because of Eragon, a Rider, and that would probably cause one of their own to give Galby info on the varden, to get revenge on a human/elf rider that got their whole clan exiled, and who was allowed to learn the dwarves most secret rituals that have been guarded for centuries, by, in their minds a king worse than Galby.

They would be able to but, those dwarves hate Galby. They hate all riders. They did not even want anything to do with Eragon or Saphira so they would not go to someone that almost destroyed their clan for help.

No, I don't think they would. Especially since it was Galby's side who destroyed most of their clan. Also, you have to remember that Durza controlled the Urgals. Galby didn't team up with them, he controlled them. |

I think the spy is Trianna. I know she was the one who was supposed to be giving Nasuada all the information she could find about the Black Hand, but what if Trianna is a member of the Black Hand? She could easily be giving false information. Plus, she did try to seduce Eragon.

Thats what i'm saying .The dwarf(s) will give info regarding the varden to galby in the hopes that the info they give him will be used used to kill Eragon. Then once the deed is (supposedly ) done the dwarfs will try to kill Galby. Plus don't you think that having an entire clan exiled is alot worse than having half the clan killed? I don't think Trianna or any of the other members of Du Vrangr Gata are spies. Remember, in the Battle of the Burning Plains, Eragon was linked to all of the Varden's magicians. He would have been able to sense any ill will. It's possible that there is another traitor, but I don't think it's going to be a major character.

I believe that there will be a traitor as the already has been (the Twins) it would be repeating and not much of a twist as the Twins. If anything i think a traitor could be in reverse and help the varden in an important way. But if there was to be a someone it would be either a drawf or someone who was close to the twins.
