Flying a grungy sig

I'm not too happy with it, but my photoshop trial just ran out and well...

I think it's pretty good, but I think you should get rid of the bluriness on the right side. I also think you should lighen up or remove the black in the corners. Other than that, t's really good.

The border thing, or whatever it is, on the left side and the bottom looks pretty awful, you should remove it. The splatter on the bottom left too looks bad.

She's not blended very well, and the whole sig looks pretty low quality. The effects are pretty nice, but the lighting and depth is like... bad, so yeah, work on those two. It's completely flat, try burn/dodges and a little blurring too, and try to make light fall on her from that patch behind her, it'll help blending too. You should have given her a more underwater look, with seaweed and stuff, and maybe added some bubbles to make her look more like she's underwater.

That said, it's one of your better ones, keep working and try checking out some tuts, or even downloading some .psds and .xcfs for ideas on new styles and effects.

Yeah, the render wasn't perfect. But i've scaled it down a bit; hopefully that will help.

I've done a bit of that; is it better noew? Or does it still need a bit more?

XD...She was meant to be flying...she is one of the witches from the Golden Compass...

I actually like the first one better. I think it looked better without the brightness by her hair.

In my opinion it would look a little better if you darkened the lower left, since it looks a bit strange with the multiple light sources.

I think is looks more like "Swimming". The brightness in the center is a bit annoying. It seems empty somehow.

I like it alot, but I agree with EC, she looks like she's swimming....and also that blurriness could be removed.....it seems a bit out of place...other than that, AWSOME ).gif
