When posting now, try to read through your posts one extra time and make sure they follow the writers' hangout rules when it comes to low content posts and spamming. IF you're unsure about whether or not it has enough content, it probably hasn't
What's considered spamming/too low content?
- All talk that has nothing to do with the story in the topic you post in. We have the PM system for a reason. E.g. What time it is for you, other stories by the same author, your school day, signatures, avatars etcetc...
- All posts that only ask about updates (excepted a short comment from the author letting people know when (s)he'll be able to post next time) E.g. When is the next update? Will you update soon? etcetc... NOTE: Comments saying something like, "awesome, I can't wait for your update" in reply to an author's note on when the next update is is not tolerated either.
- All posts merely saying how you loved/hated the story. We want reasons people
- Bumping your topic isn't allowed (posting a post asking for comments or spamming, just to get your topic at the top of the page). Double posts are allowed for posting story updates but only the author of the story can double post and (s)he can only do it for updates.
Lastly, these are examples on tolerated and good posts
- I really like your story, my favorite scene was the one where Arya had that heart to heart with Eragon, you portrayed the emotions so well.
- I spotted a few gramatical errors, here they are *insert spelling mistakes etc*
I encourage people to write more than in these short examples, the longer time you'll take and the more questions you raise, constructive criticism and praise you make and errors you point out the better.
