Okay, this time I have originals because my parents let me keep my camera with me, as these shots weren't from one of our wheeling trips, and I have access to my grandma's computer. So...yeah.

It was the private beach I'm at. Tahoe Beach and Ski Club.

Why do you ask?

And what did you think of the pics?

Nevermind, you were somewhat far away from from me. I was over near Emerald Bay. On a private beach (owned by friends) which is next to Baldwin Beach. But you were more towards stateline.

Anyhow, the pictures are pretty nice. The black and whites seem to need more contrast, but I'm partial to higher contrast black and whites, so that could just be me.

Here's some more; They were largely experimental, however, as I'm still learning what looks good in a black and white shot.















Please give me some crtique, especially on the B&W photos!

The 5th photo down wasn't in black & white. The pictures with windows in them I didn't like since they made everything so reflective and it looked very jumbled and bad. I liked the McDonald's sign though, not sure why.

Yeah, I know, I just threw that one in. Hmmm...I dunno, the one with the chairs I sort of like because of the light relfecting off the tables. But yeah, the other one with the reflections was kind of weird. Abstract.

The first, fourth, fifth, and sixth are the best in my opinion. The first one probably would have looked better without the reflections in the windows, but the composition is good. The compo of the fourth was better than the fifth (similar to the first, actually) since in the fifth it doesn't seem very... balanced, maybe? I think that's because the bright focal points span most of the picture, making it look kind of flat, sorta. The sixth one seems very balanced, with the silhouette of the plant coming from the dark end of the gradient formed by the light ... I dunno, it's just my favorite apart from the fourth.

Wow, these are quite good. the black and white ones are a bit grey and bland IMO, they need more contrast. I love the Mcdonalds one, though. and the sunsets are amazing...Who are the people in the 1st one (I hope you don't mind me asking...)

The first two don't seem all that balanced; there are two foci in the first one, neither of them on a third line, so it makes it kinda hard to tell what the main thing is supposed to be; the two kids take up a bit too much of the frame. Same with the second one; the subject is too big with the kind of thing you seemed to be aiming for. The next two are pretty normal pics; they look pretty good. The fifth one doesn't seem to focus on a certain part of the tree, so again, it kinda takes up too much room, and the bushes at the bottom don't look very good. It needs a bit more contrast too.

The first window one with the single girl looks really nice, and really makes the scenery contrast.
