Thanks to everyone for reading this story. I have been waiting for approval and during that time have been planning out the story.For those who know about the percy jackson and the olympians series, this is a time when all the cabins, (except two) are filled in at Camp Half-Blood. CHAPTER 1: Getting ready for the first capture the flag

A soft breeze blew through the leaves of Thaila's tree on top of Half-Blood Hill. Blane Eddens stood next to it. It was his second day at camp, and he was stuffed in a cabin with thirty other campers. Stephen Denval, the Hermes cabin counselor, told him it was necessary that he stay there until he he was claimed.

There was a horn sounded and Blane knew it was time for dinner. He saw the large group of campers moving toward the mess hall pavillion led by Stephen. Blane hurried down the hill of soft earth. He jumped behind his only friend he had made in the whole cabin. "Stephen almost saw you." he whispered.

Johnathon Gretel was undecided like him. He was short, and handsome with wavy brown hair and brown eyes. They made their way into the pavillion, and sat down at table eleven.

Today was capture the flag, and everyone was excited. The campers each made their way to give a part of their plate to the gods. Blane and Johnathon sat at the table discussing the game. Each of the cabins had to pick sides. Whatever cabin that captured it would have to lead whatever cabins that sided with you on the next capture the flag. The two cabins that would be leading were, Poseidon and Apollo. Hermes and Demeter cabins had sided with Poseidon. The rest sided with the Apollo cabin.

When everyone was finished, Chiron stood and said, "Campers! It is now time for the first capture the flag of the summer." Campers cheered and banged their forks on the tables.

"Lets bring in the head cabins." Just when he finished, fourteen teenagers(half of them were equipped with bows),entered through the doors with a flag decorated with a sun. A minute later, Three black haired teenagers entered with a flag decorated with a trident.

The rest of the campers went to their cabins that they sided with. Blane and Jonhathon were given the job of capturing the flag with another Poseidon boy. Blane was equipped with a spear and full greek battle armor. The other two Poseidon children would guard at the creek. The rest of the Hermes and Demeter cabins were to guard the flag. The other cabins of the west woods would have many campers along the way

The three boys started their way across the creek....

The next chapter will be the capture the flag part. I need to edit some things for the next chapter. If you have any thoughts, tell me. I'll edit this chapter later on in the week.

I like it. Seems a little short, but that's okay. It will get more readers that way. Just some advice, use good descriptions in the next chapter, it will help a lot.

Anyway, good luck with your story! I hope you continue it, since it has been 11 days since you have posted the last chapter.

I agree with Sword of Truth the first chapter was nicley written, the only thing I was a bit confused about is that if this was before the "Big Three" took their vows about not siring children how could Thalia's tree be there if this was before world war 2? But thats minor keep this going
