[font="Verdana"]In no means whatsoever, I do not own the character's in this story, except for the character's who are not named in the Twilight Series..

Chapter 1

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Hiding in the shadow's of the tree's, far off enough where they couldn't see me, I watched in complete silence and astonishment.

I had never come across someone so beautiful, other than myself. I don't remember much of when I first became what I am, but all I do remember is that I was beautiful. And a monster. I didn't want to be what I had become, but I knew, somewhere there had to be other's like me.

And I found them. I made it from Maine, to a tiny town in the Olympic Peninsula, a town named Forks, Washington. I was in the middle of the wood's, just outside of town. I came across a beautiful home, but I knew human's lived there, and I didn't want to intrude on them, or make my thirst worse. I wondered through the wood's, when I heard laughter and then russtling of the leaves that laid across the ground. Not far off, I found them.

A woman, beautiful, as I am. And a man. Their appearance was just like mine, only they were different somehow. They had golden brown eyes, instead of the red ones, I posess. Their skin was the same, hard, cold stone type. Pale, too. There was a child with them, but was she really a child? I didn't know. All I knew was that, they were different. I thought I would run into them sucking on the blood of a unsuspecting town folk. Instead, I seen three of them crouched over the body of an animal, deer it looked like from where I was standing.

I wished to approach them, but didn't want to give them the impression I was a danger to them. Maybe, I was. Since, I was new. The ones that I ran into, were somewhat expiernced in this life.

I waited, and when they left, I made my first appearance out of the tree's. I heard them all the way until I couldn't hear them anymore. It sounded like a door shutting. The home I ran into did not belong to a human.

You see, my name is Faith Razdej. From what I can remember of my human life, I was a girl from the South. A rich southern family. Until one night, I was very recklass. I met a boy, who was the most beautiful I have ever seen. And he turned me. A vampire. That's what I am. It's been a few years since I changed, but even now, I can't remember that expiernece. I run into a few of my kind now and then. But, never have I seen anything quite like these two vampire's that were only feet from me. They hunted animals, not human's? I was confused, and I wanted to learn more.

I stopped short, before making my way through the forest, in the direction they were heading. Maybe I would try hunting an animal. It didn't seem like a hard task, and it could subside my thirst for now, until I could find something more appealing.

I ran through the wood's with my incredile speed that came with being what I am. I found a deer, and pounced onto it. The taste of the blood that filled my mouth, was warm, and oddly, not that bad. I drank until I couldn't drink anymore, and flew in the direction of where those other's came from. How I was anxious to meet such civilized vampires.

[Thanks! This is the first chapter. I thought, since I have this idea in my head, I want to write the second chapter, before I get off of here. Please, comment. I take all sorts of them, whether they be good or bad! - Faith Cullen]

Chapter 2

I finally found the house I had been searching for. It took longer than expected, although, I lost track of time long ago. I couldn't sleep anyway, so I had nothing but time on my hands.

I walked up the step's to the front door, which looked inviting. There was a large door-knocker on the front, and I pulled it into my strong hands, nearly breaking it off. It pounded against the door, and I heard footsteps slowly walking to it. I couldn't imagine walking when we had the speed to outrun a cheetah.

I gasped when the front door was opened. His skin as hard as stone, stood a blonde man, in his early twenties, from the sights of it. He smiled.

"Hello. Can I help you?" he asked. His voice was gentle. Like, he had expected me here. I smiled in return.

"Hi. I'm Faith Razdej. I travled all the way from Maine to find another Coven, but as you see, I am alone. I was wondering if I could come in and speak with you?" I asked. He seemed willing enough.

"Sure, come on in," he said, inviting me in. The living room was magnificent. A grand piano stood off to the side on a low platform. Another man entered the room. His size was amazing, huge muscles busting out of his stone chest.

"Emmett, this is Faith Razdej. She stopped by. Travelled all the way from Maine to find another coven. However, she is all alone," the blonde haired man said to the burly one.

"Hi, Faith. Emmett Cullen," Emmett said, holding out his strong hand. I put my fragile, yet also strong hand in his. His face was unconvinced though. It must have been the color of my eyes, a deep red almost.

"Faith, I'm Carlisle Cullen. It's very nice to have met you. Would you like to sit?" Carlisle asked. He sat down on one of the leather couches that were set aside.

I sat down in the chair opposite him, so I could read his face.

"Tell me about yourself, Faith. I see you obviously are the same as us," he said. He could tell by my eyes.

"Yes. I was changed a few years ago. But, I remember nothing about being changed at all. I remember the night it happened, but nothing afterwards. If I'm not mistaken, I was 18 when I was turned," I said. I think I was right. I was born in the Spring of 1987.

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that, although, the memories of being changed are nothing to worry about. Be glad that you don't. We all do. Let me bring everyone down so you can introduce them to you," Carlisle said. Almost instantly, without saying a word, five individuals walked down the stairs and into the living room. Two were the ones I seen in the wood's near the home.

"Edward, Bella, Renesmee, Alice, Jasper. This is Faith Razdej. Here to talk with us about our family. Faith, that's my son Edward and his wife Bella and their daughter Renesmee. My daughter Alice and adopted son Jasper. Bella is the newest to our family as is Renesmee," Carlisle said. I was shocked to hear the words, wife and daughter. Edward was surprisingly nice to look at it. But, so were all of them.

"It's nice to meet you," I said. I didn't want to seem rude. Each smiled in return, and came to sit along with us. Carlisle smiled. The door opened just then, and the smell of something rancid walk through the door. I smelled this smell before. Only not this close. I turned to see a normal looking Indian boy walk through the door. His russet color skin, almost beautiful, beaded with sweat.

The daughter, Renesmee, burst into excited giggles when he walked through the door, and he walked to her with open arms. I finally realized what that smell was. The boy was a shape shifter. Our mortal enemies. I wonder what he was doing here. The woman, whose name I remembered as Bella, seen my reaction and chimed in.

"Don't mind Jacob. He's my best friend, and also Renesmee's protector of sorts. We might be her parents, but now Jacob is her life long protector. He's a werewolf, so you'll get used to the smell, if you stay. I'll explain later why Jacob is my daughter's life protector," she said. I understood. But, not quite. I had questions.

"What brought you this way?" Edward cut into my thoughts. I was suddenly very calm, as if a wave rushed over me.

"I don't remember being changed. So, when I awoke from it, I didn't understand what was going on. I tried to quench my thirst by starving myself. I tried not to hunt human's, but they are so irresistable sometimes. I don't want to be a monster. I was in the wood's earlier, when I seen you and your wife and Renesmee were hunting. I stayed back in the shadow, not to pose any harm on you. I know how thirsty vampire's can be. But, I noticed that you fed on animal's. I was curious, so I thought I would stop to introduce myself," I said. I didn't expect to meet such a well civilized coven.

Jasper smiled. "It's nice of you to do so," and Alice took his hand. She was pixy like, small, almost fragile looking with her pale skin and muscles you could clearly see in her tiny frame.

Then, I realized, I had no mate. Everyone in this family already had a mate.

"You look young for your age. Would you like to join our family. We have certain rules. You must become one of us. That is, different than other vampire's. We don't hunt human's, but animal's as you saw. We need you to become like us, or you can no longer stay with us," Carlisle said. I nodded. There would be exposure because of me.

"Thank you so much, Carlisle. I appreciate it," I said. And I truly did. The entire room smiled and their new family member. Me. Faith Cullen.

Here is Chapter 3. Enjoy!

Chapter 3

Becoming part of their family was what I had hoped for. We talked for a while, and figured if I could get put into school as a Senior this year, the family could stay just a little bit longer. They had come up with a story, that I was their cousin from the Denali Coven. I had come to stay with them for a while, and ended up enjoying Forks, and I would stay.

I liked this. Sitting around in a big circle, talking and laughing, just as it should be. Just as any other family would. I was later introduced to Carlisle's mate, Esme, who took me in under her wings the moment she said hello. And Rosalie, a beautiful blonde vampire. She had a hard, stone face, always with the same look on her face. But, she was pleasant enough when in my presence.

The light was slowly fading outside, and soon, each family member left the area, to do things that they had to do. The ones who stayed were Bella, Edward and their daughter Renesmee. She was an extrodinary girl. She showed me her thoughts. Mostly, they were about Jacob, and I could tell she was happy that he was around. Jacob had left moments ago, to be with his pack for a while, but he promised to return quickly.

"Faith, have you ever hunted animals?" Edward asked, looking at me. I had become distracted by the little girl's thoughts, but my head snapped up when he asked me.

"After I seen you do it, I thought I'd give it a try. It's not as bad as it thought. But, I figure, I can't be too mature yet. My eye's are still a redish color. Sometimes, I even scare myself," I said. I chuckled, however and Edward smiled.

"Show her, Bells," Edward said to his wife. Renesmee climbed into her father's lap, and Bella stood up. She put her finger to her eye, and removed something clear from the left one. When she looked up, I almost gasped. Her eyes were the same color as mine, only much more diminished. You could see the golden color coming in.

"Your a new vampire as well?" I asked, in complete awe. Bella nodded, put the contact back in her eye and sat down.

"Yes, I am. You see. When Edward and I met, I was human. We were Juniors at Forks high school, and had a class together. It's completely hard to remember this memory, since I was human when it happened. Edward, would you mind telling her the story?" Bella asked. Edward smiled, as if he had never seen someone more beautiful.

"Of course, my love. Well, Bella's scent as a human, was remarkable. I had never wanted someone's blood as much as I wanted hers. I found it hard to keep from killing her the first day we met. But, I held off. I was rude to her, in the beginning, trying to make her understand how dangerous I was. But, Bella here, was so prone to accidents, I almost became her body guard over night. Over the next two years, Bella and I had been through a lot. Including the wolves. But, I knew I could not stay away from Bella. She wanted to be changed, before she got older than I am, even though she technically was, when she became one of us. We got married, and went off to Isle Esme, which was given from my father to my mother. She ended up getting pregnant with Renesmee, and nearly dying. I changed her, although, I didn't think I had the strength. 2 days later, she awoke, this beautiful new vampire. When she looked in the mirror, she couldn't even believe it herself," Edward laughed at the memory. "She had an incredible gift in the beginning, able to hold her thirst," he finished. I listened to their story intently.

Apparently, my mouth hung open in shock at these two. I snapped it shut, quickly. Edward caught it and smiled.

"Wow. I never would have imagined a human and a vampire. How long ago was your change?" I asked Bella. She looked up from starring at her daughter and looked at me.

"I'd say about a year ago now. I lost track of time, since we can't sleep," she said.

I could tell she had been shy as a human, as she was still shy in this new life. But, I could tell that her love for her family over rode everything she had ever been through.

It was becoming darker by the minute and soon, Bella and Renesmee stood.

"We will see you in the morning, then, Faith. We'll take you hunting tomorrow, show you the ropes to become a great hunter," Bella said. And with one swift movement, put Renesmee on her back and ran out the open door into the night. Edward stood up not much longer after they disappeared.

"I must be going too. It's past Nessie's bedtime. We live in a little cottage in the wood's. However, I will gladly let you stay in my room. It's on the top floor, last door. It's small, but there is lots of things to keep you occupied all night," he said. He said goodbye and was gone too. The door slammed shut, only seconds after he left the room.

I sat alone in the living room for a bit longer, hoping someone would come back. I heard a TV on in the kitchen, but I heard nothing else.

I stood, walking up the stairs and finding the room Edward had spoke of. I opened it, and was in awe, once again. To my right, an entire wall was filled with music. I felt like I was in a music store. There was a door that led to nowhere in front of me, and I opened it. There was a light breeze coming in, and there was a low rumble of thunder in the distance. Rain. I understood why they choose this. They could be outside during the day, due to the constant cloud cover. And would remain inside, whenever there was a slight bit of sunshine. I had no problem with this. I felt safe with this family.

I just wish that the truth behind my running to this town, would not follow me here.

[Alright! That's chapter 3. I'm going to start chapter 4, which skips a little bit. I hope you are enjoying reading this, as much as I am writing this. - Faith Cullen]

Chater 4, part one

Living with the Cullen's was better than I had ever imagined. They already called me part of their family. I hunted with them, talked with them, shared secerts with them. Bella and Alice were great sister's. Rosalie hadn't quite warmed up to me yet. I wasn't surprised. Bella had told me stories. Renesmee constantly showed me her thoughts, which always consisted of Jacob, and even I was beginning to learn to love the giant, despite the smell he brought into the home.

It was the middle of August, and school was starting up tomorrow. I was enrolled, as a Senior, and I was excited. If I could feel butterflies in my stomach, I would have them right now.

That night, we had a celebration, welcoming me into the family, and their home. We had hunted and while we did so, Alice set up balloon's and banner's, welcoming their new family member. I truly felt honor. We wasted the night away and soon, it was morning.

Carlisle gave me a quick hug before going to the hospital.

"I hope you have a great day at school. Visit me afterwards, at the hospital, if you feel up to it. But, if the burning in your throat occurs at school, just come straight home," he said, and he was out the door. Bella and Edward left Renesmee with Esme to go run some errands and visit Bella's father, Charlie, who was the Chief of Police here in the small town.

"Good luck," the said at the same time, as they rushed out the door.

I stepped onto the porch, and saying a quick goodbye over my shoulder, headed to the car they had purchased for me. It was small, a Volvo. Edward had one similar to it, and it would make me more conspiuous, when entering the school parking lot. Like most things, it was near the highway and I found it quickly. Older cars were parked in the parking lot and I seen a few faces I recognized from trekking through Forks the day before.

I parked my car in a spot, and stepped out. I wore a pair of jeans, and a long sleeved shirt. It was supposed to be cold today, and I didn't want to look out of place with anything but. I walked into the buidling that said Office, and a woman waited for me on the other side of the messy desk.

"Faith Cullen? Oh, it's so good to have you here in Forks. Carlisle has talked a lot about you at the hospital. I was just there with a broken foot a week ago. And here I stand," the woman, short and stout, giggled to herself. "Here is your class schedule. And a map of the school," she handed me a handful of papers. "Take this slip with you to have signed by your teachers and return it to me at the end of the day," the woman said. I smiled gratefully at her, not once opening my mouth. She had been stunned by my beauty, as I'm sure most people will be.

I walked into a building that had a large number two on the front. I had biology first. The day passed quickly, and soon I was in lunch. Many tables were already filled, but I noticed one that was open. I took a tray of food that I would not touch over to the table. I heard murmors as I walked through the crowded lunch room.

I sat down, and looked out the window. The clouds were giving away to the rain, and soon, it began to downpour. I smiled. No sun, thank god.

I turned my head to the right and noticed a boy starring at me. The burning in my throat reacted, and I stiffened. From far away, I could smell his scent. It was difficult, to contain myself. I breathed, or fake breathed, and turned my head away. Now, I knew what Edward was talking about. His number's were up the second I looked at him.

[That's part one of Chapter 4. Please comment. I am always looking for suggestions! - Faith]

Part Two. Longer than part one, but I wanted to post before I had to go to work. Enjoy.

Chapter Four, Part 2

Lunch seemed to last longer. The smell of that boy's skin was radiating toward me, like it was meant for just me. I had no one here, no friends, no family, to help me through this. When the bell rang, I was up in one quick movement, and out the door heading toward my first afternoon class.

I hoped I would not run into that boy again. I needed to get home, feed, and relax. I hunted the night before, hoping this would be okay, me being in school with so many human's. But, I found out I was wrong. I sat down in the only open seat next to a girl I had seen walking through the lunch room. I smiled at her, my brilliant teeth flashing.

"Hi. I'm Andrea," she said, holding out her hand. I didn't take it. My cold skin would scare her. She put it down, a little offended.

"Sorry, Andrea. I'm not good with touching people. I have a fear of germs," I lied. It sounded good enough, and she seemed to understand. "I'm Faith," I said, offering her my name. She smiled again. She was pretty, in her own way. I smiled in responce.

"Rumor has it, that your a cousin of the Cullen's. My sister know's a Cullen, but back when she knew her, she was Bella Swan," Andrea said. I smiled at the thought of Bella being a human. Hard to believe, since I've only known her as what she is now.

"Oh. Yes, Bella. She's married to Edward. And your right, I'm Faith Cullen. I moved here from Denali, where my family resides," I lied again. It was coming so natrual, but I'd do anything to help out my new family.

"Oh. That's interesting," Andrea said, and just then, I stiffened for the second time today. That smell, that scent was becoming too famialiar for my own liking. I turned, and the boy who noticed me in the dining hall, was sitting next to me, at the desk to my right. I turned, giving myself an awful expression on my face. Andrea laughed.

"That's Harley. He's kind of...the bad boy, so to speak. I'd stay away from him, if I were you. Most girls who get involved, get hurt," Andrea said. She spoke as if she were one of them. I noticed she had a scare on her left hand. I had seen Bella's scare on her arm from where she was bitten so long ago, and Edward had saved her from becoming one of us.

"I see," was the only reply I could get out of my mouth. The class seemed to pass by slowly, and the smell was beginning to take up every one of my senses. I couldn't believe how stupid I had been when being around so many human's. At the end of class, Andrea said goodbye to me, and I waved, not wanting to say anything. I quickly walked to my car, at the end of the day, hoping Harley would not run into me.

But, he his car was parked next to me. He was leaning up against it, and he smiled at me again, for the second time that day. I smiled quickly, but did not push myself further. But, he spoke for the first time.

"Hey," was all that he said. I stopped. I turned to look at him, and I did not notice before the shade of green his eyes were. He was beautiful. I shaked the thoughts of killing him out my head, and stood on the other side of my car before responding.

"Hello," I said. I unlocked the door and was about to get in when he was already blocking me from opening it.

"Your new, right? I've never seen you here before. Your, strange. One of the most beautiful people I have ever seen in my life," he said. He seemed genuine about it. I smiled a bleak smile, but his scent was over taking me.

"Thank you. Your not so bad looking yourself. But, if you'd excuse me. I have to meet my Uncle at the hospital now. I'll see you tomorrow," I said. He moved away from the door, and shut it after me. He tapped on the glass before walking to his car, where his friends were now gathering around. I started the car and flew out of the parking lot, towards home.

Edward could tell something was up. The concern on his face was unmistakable.

"Let's hunt," I said. Without another word, Edward followed me, running just a tad bit slower than me, through the forest. I took out the first animal I could find, another deer, and drained it of it's blood. I was so thirsty, that I went after another. Soon, Edward was grabbing me off my third, and I was shell-shocked.

"You met a human today whose scent could over take all of your senses, right?" he said. He seemed amused at this thought. Remembering the day he met Bella for the first time, no doubt. I nodded, showing him that I was just a weak newborn.

"But, you held in your urge. I am really proud of you Faith. Your doing better than most vampire's would surrounded around all those human's. Your just like Bella," he said. He hugged me then, and I hugged him back. If vampire's could produce tears, this is where I would bawl my eyes out.

Carlisle arrived home shortly after we returned to the house. He seemed pleased when Edward told him about my first day. I couldn't bring myself to speak. I was just so nervous that Carlisle wouldn't be as proud as Edward had been.

That night, there was a big thunder storm moving in. The family all got excited. This they had mentioned to me before. They all loved baseball. And the only time we could play was during storms. We all dressed in our outfits, and made our way to the clearing. I watched fascinated. I had never seen vampire's play, even as one myself.

"Are you ready?" Emmett asked, bat in hand. I took it from him with a smirk on my face.

"I'm first," and I stepped up to the plate.

[Thanks guys! I'm coming home straight from work. I'll maybe have chapter five written for you. - Faith]

Here is Chapter 5.

Chapter 5

Slowly, the urge to hurt Harley slowlu subsided. I still avoided him however. He would always say hello to me in class. I would smile politely, and turn back to whatever conversation I was having with Andrea. She was a good person, and always there when I needed to talk. I wish I could tell her what I was, but I didn't want to put any harm in my families way.

The Cullen's were getting easier and easier to live with every day. Nothing was ever the same. Watching Renesmee grow was remarkable. She showed me her thoughts often, and they still mostly consisted of Jacob. Bella, who explained to me why Jacob was always around, showed love for all of her family members, including me. I was a newborn, just like her and we had a lot in common surprisingly. We would stay up late into the night talking. She would try to tell me memories of her human life, but she would often forget them. I knew that feeling. Memories of my human life had already faded and long been forgotten. But, I don't think Bella wanted to forget one second of her human life. Edward would tell me stories though, when Bella was off with Rensmee somewhere, often when she would visit her father, who I had yet to meet.

School wasn't exactly as hard as I would have imagined. I was passing all my classes with A's. Carlisle and Esme were proud of me, in which I was thankful to put the Cullen name in good honor.

Everything seemed to be going perfect, until one day at school. Andrea and I were talking in class, as usual, and when the bell rang, Harley wasn't in his seat. I swore I had seen him in lunch when I was sitting with the group I know sit with. I must have been mistaken. If I had a heart, or if it beat I should say, it would be beating quite fast. My body stiffened, and if I could breathe at this point, I wouldn't be able to. Andrea noticed my change in behavior.

"Are you okay?" she asked, worry in her deep brown eyes.

I thought about her question for a second, before I realized I must look like a fool. I loosened my body up, and put on a fake smile.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I just got the chills for a second," I said. That seemed pretty humanly of me. But, I only knew the truth.

At the end of the day, I walked to my car, hoping to find Harley's in his usual spot next to mine, but it was gone. I frowned. I couldn't understand where he had gone, had he even been in school today. I drove around town to maybe figure out where he lived, but I seen no cars that matched his, not even close.

I raced home. I needed to talk to Edward. He's been through this before. He could help me.

Chapter 6

Edward told me the entire story about what it was like, each and every time Bella was in danger. Or, when he knew something was wrong. But, he also warned me of the dangers.

"Faith, I know I'm going to sound like a hypocrite when I say this, but don't get involved with a human. Not only was I putting my family at risk of the consequences about what could possibly happen, but Bella was in so much danger and she didn't even know it.Your mate will come along, and he will be one of us. You won't have to worry about hurting him, or killing him. He will be strong, as strong as you are. Don't put this kid in danger of what we are," Edward said. He smiled Bella's favorite crooked smile, but, they didn't reach his eyes. I could tell. I knew when Edward was really smiling. I knew my family now. It's been two months since I came to them.

I nodded, and thought deeply about this. Maybe, maybe I should just get out of school now before I get in too deep. I went up to Carlisle's office, where he was sitting peacefully behind his desk, going through a book bigger than the encyclopedia. I knocked, but he already knew I was there.

"What do you need, Faith?" he asked, as he set the book aside. I walked in slowly, admiring the giant room with the pictures of Carlisle's history on the wall behind me. The story was truly amazing. Edward explained to me, just as he did with Bella.

"I think I should get out of Forks High School. I am becoming to realize that my feelings for this human boy are much stronger than I even led myelf to believe. Edward told me not to become involved. That I would be putting Harley in danger of everything if I became invovled with him. I don't know what to do, though. So, I'm coming to you," I said, finally closing my speech. Carlisle looked contemplative.

After only a half a second, he resumed speaking. "You are wise beyond your years, Faith Cullen. And Edward is right. We all put Bella in danger after she became too involved with Edward. She knew everything, and there was no way of getting around it. The Volturi knew, and she had to become one of us, although that's all she ever dreamed of. I don't want this life for many others. Only those who truly need it. Like, Edward, dying of Spanish influenza. And Bella, who was dying from a very hard, painful child birth. Esme, who jumped off a cliff to kill herself. They truly needed it," Carlisle said. I had no idea that was the reason why Esme was one of us. He didn't mention any of the other's. I don't think he even knew.

I nodded, thinking to myself. "I think I need to get out now. I loved school and I'm going to miss all my friends, but I don't want to put anyone in danger, just because I care. Isn't this a better way of showing I care?" I asked, mostly to myself but I noticed Carlisle nod after I mentioned those words. I smiled deeply to myself.

At the same moment, something loud crashed onto the floor. Odd, when you have eight unbelievably fast vampire's living in one home. I stood up quickly, and rushed after Carlisle downstairs in the living room. Alice was there, surrounded by the entire family, Carlisle and I just entering as the last few minutes of her gift were up. I looked at Edward, who was trying to comprehend what was going on, but he had a frustrated look on his face. Jasper was soothing Alice, trying to have her tell us what she seen. But, she wouldn't budge.

After another half a second, her eyes returned to normal, and they instantly flicked up to me. She had one word to say to me, and it made a shudder crawl up my spine.

"Leon."
