THE TALE OF HE WHO WANTS TO BE.

**************************************

Knocked asunder,

Knight me, thunder,

Right me back to what I am.

**************************************

Left unseen,

My presence, demean,

Give me back a worthwhile name.

**************************************

Trapped in blame,

Relieve me, rain,

Take me back to what I've been.

**************************************

Trouble wrought,

Forgive me not,

Give me back what I've become.

**************************************

Locked out-of-sight,

Restore me, light,

Renew me back to who I was.

**************************************

Fearing change,

Something strange,

Maintain my quiet solitude.

**************************************

A simple life,

Is worth the strife,

Of wondering if better awaits.

**************************************

Toil in pain,

Can't be the same,

Guide me back to my purpose.

**************************************

Worthless hope,

Mirthless mope,

Can't you lend a hand to me?

**************************************

Surpass dreams,

Overcome seams,

Revive my will to stand again.

**************************************

Why oh why,

Must I try,

When only I want to give in?

**************************************

Knowing difference,

Make an inference,

To what my life must be.

**************************************

Is life kind?

For I've yet to find,

The kindness in my world.

**************************************

FIN.

If you like good stories without a overdose on fighting, read Ti Amo a very good Halo fanfic! I DO NOT WRITE IT!

My avatar is actually a megalomaniac that mutated into a dragon and then used a shrink ray.

Nice poem. There are lines that really don't along but on the whole nice job.
For example:

Toil in pain,

Can’t be the same,

Guide me back to see my purpose. This line doesn't flow along with the rest of the stanza. Maybe if you cut "see" here then it will be better.

It's an evening of horror, shame on the skies

I liked it very much.
You know, if he wasn't a vampire, he'd just be a stalker.

I'm not a stalker, by the way you're out of milk.

I like the Harvest Moon games, call me crazy, but I do.

I do many things well, none of which generate income.
