Remember, it's a drama. This particular drama is similar to a soap opera, but in novel form.

Terminology:

Lolretz: "LOL RETRIBUTION PALADIN!" Retribution is the damage specialization for Paladins, currently the easiest and most ovepowered class in the game.

Iganku: "I gank you." Ganking is killing somebody a lower level than you, or killing somebody your level with more than one person.

Chapter One:

It was a glorious spring day in Eversong Woods. The birds were chirping, the Mana Wyrms were out of mana, and the Sanctums were humming strong with magic.

So why had Eliiara's day gone so terribly, horribly wrong? How could Valentine's day really end up like this? Her ex-boyfriend, Lolretz, had transferred to a different server without even telling her! And she'd never even gotten to say goodbye! How could such a terrible thing happen in a land with eternal spring?

She'd never have cheated on him with War-Chief Thrall! Never! How could he have believed that evil guildie? How could he have transferred?

She almost couldn't believe she'd never talk to him again. She definitely couldn't believe that he thought she would cheat on him with a green-skinned Orc, no less!

She sighed and got up off of an alcove on Murder Row. She'd recently finished going over with her trainer about what had happened to her, and how she wouldn't be leveling up any time soon because she was still getting over Lolretz. Her trainer had slapped her - hard - and gave her a quest to learn to enslave a Voidwalker in the Ghostlands.

Instead of doing something constructive, like her trainer said, she decided to just be lazy for once in her ten levels of life. She decided to just stay in Silvermoon for a while and just live her life, maybe meet someone new, a hot blood elf rogue, maybe, or a fellow warlock.

Anyone, anyone, but a retribution paladin.

Then, what had happened was, she met the most wonderful, amazing blood elf male - or, that is, she thought he was a male - and they'd talked. For a long time. About love, life, watching your victims run as you strike them down with magic or blade....

It had been magical. And then they'd started dating. It was like with Lolretz, all over again! Iganku was just the most amazing person she'd ever met! "Meet you by the Farstrider Retreat, at the setting sun." He said with a grin, and vanished.

He was so amazing! So well-traveled! He'd been to the Ghostlands, to the Undercity, Lordaeron, Orgrimmar! To Tauren Mill, and Ashenvale! The Barrens! Places she'd never been to but had always wanted to go! He was level 26 to her level 10! She couldn't see why he was so interested in her, when there were so many other blood elven females!

She'd been having the most wonderful night of her life. She'd been in Silvmoon for all of two seconds when she'd seen someone hiding in the shadows, Their nameplate said "Lolretzalt". He threw a dagger at her, hitting the wall next to her, and then he logged out without a sound. She shivered. That was scary, she thought, and decided to just go home and forget about it. She would kill Lolretzalt eventually.

On the way home, she checked her maillbox. She had only one letter, from Lolretzalt.

"You love me. You know you love me, Eliiara! Admit it. Or else some... accidents will start to happen."

Rushed ending, yeah. Lolretzalt is supposed to be incredibly weird and creepy as hell.

Chapter Two:

The next day, Eliiara went to Iganku's place of residence - he was living with the other apprentice rogues, in Murder Way, right on her way over to visit her master. She marveled at the sunlight as it came through the streamers, the shadowed alley an incredibly beautiful sight to her eyes. To her, this was home - If Silvermoon was her home, than Murder Row was her home inside her home.

Suddenly, the walls of Murder Row were awash with the blood of Gazooblegook, her imp. She jumped as Iganku came out of stealth. "You really have to get your Voidwalker," He said with a glint in his eye. "Consume Shadows could be quite useful here. It could've saved Gazooblegook." She sighed. "Now I have to resummon him, you idiot!"

"Tsk. All the more reason to get a Voidwalker."

--

Over the next few weeks of her life, everything went amazing for Eliiara. Iganku had hit level 30 and was on his own mount now, and she and him were planning to see the world together. All of Azeroth, at the very least!

But that night, they were in bed and Iganku asked, "Elii, why don't you get your voidwalker?" He frowned. "You've been level 10 for weeks - you should be at least level 20 by now!" She shrugged. "I don't know, Iggy - It's just that... The last few weeks, with you, have been amazing. I'm the happiest I've ever been. But - I'm a Warlock. What if I move on? What if I level up? What if I become corrupted? What if I'm-" She sobbed, "What if I'm not strong enough?" Iganku nodded. "You can do it, Elii. I'll help." And that was when Iganku vowed to get Eliiara to catch up to him in level, so they could really be equals. "O- Okay." She stuttered. "Tomorrow, we're going to walk over to your master and get that quest from him, all right? But first, we need to go to sleep. Good night."

--

Eliiara's master's reaction to her showing up and asking for her quest was a slap in the face and the scroll for her quest. "You must go," The master Warlock said, with a dramatic pause, "To the Ghostlands." She nodded. "You must travel along the Dead Scar and find the Voidstone, hidden away under the scar. It will tell you what to do next."

When they left the Warlock training room, Iganku turned to Eliiara. "So, now that you might die and all," He said with a grin, "You want to do it?"

I don't generally keep up good standards for my fanfics, and my chapters will be short and possibly really, really suck. That last chapter was just to set events for chapter three, which I will probably update next week.

If it isn't that funny, I don't really care. If you enjoy it, good for you. Therefore, trolling is not needed.
