Personally, I'm curious about how people will interpret this theme. I'm actually a bit surprised this one got the most votes, because if I remeber correctly, there were a few other themes that were suggested more frequent before I put the poll up.
Are you guys planning on enering with one of two photos? Colors or black&white?

I'd rather be able to take one photo, because I think you can show what talent you have by integrating two very different ideas into one picture. But I'm not quite sure how I'll do that, so I still may end up entering two. Hopefully it won't come to that though.

No matter how hard horses, cowgirls, or Vince's bunnies try to stop them.

He gave her twelve roses. Eleven were real and one was fake. He said, "I'll love you 'til the last one dies."

And could the due date be longer, because I don't think I'll be able to have it up by the 25th, as I'm just so busy with stuff.

Um, the theme is open for interpretation but my thoughts are that you play with shadows and light, and darkness in general to make some sort of artistic expression. Like for example the photo in the competition thread, or if you look at paintings; paintings with chiaroscuro. It's about contrasts sort of. Um.. I hope that helped, but maybe I should try to explain again later.
EDIT: Well, as Quoth said, it's mostly up to your own interpretation. And perhaps we could move the due date. We'll see.

Oh well, I entered mine. The first one was taken using someone else's camera that lacks manual functions, so it's horribly grainy. =(

So do you guys want to vote for each photo separately or for each contestant as a whole?

If we get more entrants, I'd say we should vote on each contestant, but with the few pictures we've got up now, I'd go with individual pictures, just so that we have more options.
