To What Once Was, Still Is, And Will Forever Be
As we flew above the clouds,
We look down to see our crown
Fall upon the sacred ground.
With hope destroyed, we stare away
With no power to turn away.
With a chime of a bell,
And a crack of steel,
The clock strikes 10,
And the sun disappears.
Thus begins Winter in Fall.
The ashes fell like snow,
Drowning the world,
And all that was left,
Weeping from the skies for all to see,
Watching as our world fell down to it's knees.
Hope is lost, far and wide
Not even light is left to survive
All we know has fallen to the floor
And in the blink of an eye, it all disappears
Nothing is left but loss and fear
Pieces of our hearts scatter the floor
Nothing left of what we once adored.
Remember those whose heart soared,
Into the skies forever more.
Remember the day forever more, the day our world was on its knees.
As we flew above the clouds,
We look down to see our crown
Fall upon the sacred ground.
With hope destroyed, we stare away
With no power to turn away.
With a chime of a bell,
And a crack of steel,
The clock strikes 10,
And the sun disappears.
Thus begins Winter in Fall.
The ashes fell like snow,
Drowning the world,
And all that was left,
Weeping from the skies for all to see,
Watching as our world fell down to it's knees.
Hope is lost, far and wide
Not even light is left to survive
All we know has fallen to the floor
And in the blink of an eye, it all disappears
Nothing is left but loss and fear
Pieces of our hearts scatter the floor
Nothing left of what we once adored.
Remember those whose heart soared,
Into the skies forever more.
Remember the day forever more, the day our world was on its knees.
