I like how the light and dark sides are seperated and clash at the center. If that makes sense....The whole photo makes me think of a battle between the light and dark themselves, and that's pretty awesome.

OW16: 2
I like the way the photo is a little off center and the way light and dark are clearly depicted.

QTR: 1
I really liked the pattern of light and dark is made by the pillars, but I think it would've been better if the shadows caused by the pillars had been a little darker. The patterns caused by...trees? The sunlight between the pillars are a nice touch too. But I think the photo would've been better for the theme without the cat. While the cat has the light vs dark theme too, it just seems like there's too much of the theme going on. The cat seems to add too much to it.

I think you really got the light vs. dark thing down. This is a great photo, and it fits the theme perfectly. The photo is almost completely half-and-half, which has a really cool effect.

I really like this photo. The black and white is awesome. One of the best parts is the off-balance. I like it, I like it a lot. (BTW, did she know you were taking a picture?)

This one fits the theme quite nicely. I really like the silhouette and the contrast.
Unrelated: Does anyone else see a lot of faces in this picture?



Although I didn't give QTR and points, I would like to say that this was, in my opinion, the best photo in the contest. I just didn't see the light vs. dark in it, so i didn't feel right voting for it as the winner. (don't bite my head off)

Um, I'm pretty sure she didn't know. She was arguing with someone and waiting to leave and I was just standing down the hallway with my camera. But she noticed me after that and I got some non candid photos.

Wow, that photo is absolutely incredible. And how you capture it at that exact moment with the clouds and sun in the right position...I just love it. It goes along so well with the theme. Awesome job.

Though it's a bit plain, I still love how it comes with the theme. The dark and light consist well with each other, and I love the clouds in the background.

I love the theme here. It goes along well, especially how it's dark in the back of the hallway and then light. It's like the light at the end of the tunnel .

[3]AS- I LOVE this one! Pictures with clouds over the ocean are always interesting (to me). Works well with the theme.
[2]LG- Sky pictures always interest me. I love how the land is all dark. (@QtR- coughyescough)

OW16 [3] - I think this was pretty good technically (not that I'm an expert or anything) and fitted the theme well.

AS [2] It was very pretty and fitted the theme well.

QTR [1] I actually liked this photo best of all, but it didn't really fit the theme all that well in my opinion therefore I couldn't give it full score.
