[Du Eldheill Nuanen]

Just wanted some input on this photo edit. It was my first time using photoshop, I'm more used to Jasc Paint Shop Pro, but I couldn't get it to do exactly this. Anyway, I know it's simple, but any critiques are welcome. By the way, this is actually a picture of me.

Hey you look like an elf! what ruins it are the piercings and the clothes but aside that, you look great!

Yes, it is an older picture, and I plan to take pictures some time that reflect the elven look I'm truly going for. Thank you, I was hoping that other people would think it came out ok too. I'm really hoping to get a nice digital slr and work on my photography and editing skills, even if it is just a hobby. I wonder if there's a niche in the photography field for someone to specifically do personal pictures with fantasy/sci-fi editing? Lol.

Oh and hey! Maybe I'm a modern elf?

Hahaha. I'm good at coming up with a come-back..only it's usually way after the fact lol.

Ooh that would be cool.. Hm. I'm going to have to do some research.

VERY nice! You can really tell the ear was changed though because it is pixalated. But over my the front of your ear, wher your hair is tucked back, round your ear out some more. Other wise great job!

Thank you for the critique Elisha. I'll probably mess around with it a bit more to see if I can get it to come out better. My only solution for the pixelation is really just to start with a bigger picture and size it down so it's less visible. I can't see what you're talking about around where my hair is tucked behind my ear. I did it all basically in one step (I had looked up a tutorial online to learn how to do it), so maybe breaking it into processes could help. All I did was select my ear, make a new layer, and stretch it from the top.
