---Prologue---

100 years have passed since Eragon, the legendary Dragon Rider of ancient past and Shadeslayer,

had killed the evil King Galbatorix. With the war over the Menoa Tree, which is no more, banishes Eragon and Saphira, his dragon, from Alaegasia. An elven princess named Arya left with him and as such with the entire elven nation. They had left and were never seen again since the last hundred years.

Chapter One

Arvan was excited. Today was his sixteenth birthday, and by law he must touch the one of the last two dragon in Alaegasia. As he prepared for the long journey ahead his foster brother, Genesis, called "Lo and behold we have another man in the family!" Arvan laughed " Shame that you don't act one!" Genesis faltered for a moment as he walk into Arvan's room. "Oh? At least I no longer sleep at night and wake up in a puddle!" Arvan threw his pack at him.


As Arvan made way to the Fenister's gates, Elva, a strange woman who had the power to predict others pain, made way to him, her violet eyes staring longingly to his own. "I heard talk in the town that you are leaving us all for the chance to become a Dragon Rider." She said Dragon Rider with malice, as if she wanted the eggs to never existed, and thus no Riders. Arvan felt someone else in his thoughts. Perhaps she is trying read my mind to see I don't lie to her.

Of course I am. Elva's voice whispered in his head "Okay, fine. I am going to Doru Araeba to become a Rider, is that a problem?" Elva stared at him for a minute. "No, but heed my warning, be wary of what you say in the ancient language, you may cause more harm than good." Before Arvan could reply, Elva had turned and left.

Chapter Two

After three months on a creaky and rather smelly ship, Arvan made port in the town of Doru Araeba. Finally, I'm going to be a rider. As he ran to the fort that lay on top of the island peaks, he suddenly tripped and fell face flat on the dung of a mule. The stench and humiliation was so horrible, Arvan fainted.


"Helloooo?"

Arvan shifted around. "Hey wake up!!" suddenly a kick to his gut made Arvan double in pain.

"I'm up!!!!" He opened his eyes to see the face of a pretty girl looking over him. Her eyes were light blue like the ocean around the island and her hair as dark as the night sky."Uhhhh your kinda to close?" The girl's face redden a bit and she moved back. "Ok, but you might want to wash your shirt, you kinda had a...." She trailed off then burst into laughter. Arvan looked down.

For a moment he saw nothing, but then the odor reached up to him and he gagged. "Ugh, how come to don't seem affected?" The girl smiled" I placed a ward against ugly smells reaching to my nose." Arvan has shocked. "You can cast spells? That means your a-!" "A Rider? Yes!" She interrupted. They looked into each others eyes for a quick moment..."Oh! I forgot to mention my name!, I am Loivissa, or the word for Lily in the Ancient Language ." Finding this interesting, Arvan worded the word Loivissa in his mind. "You going to touch the egg my father has in store are you?" Arvan nodded "Your father is king of this island?!?" Loivissa giggled and said " Yes and you are in his castle now, and you must rest for tomorrow is the Dragon bonding celebration."

With that she left the room.

After 100 years is sooo much as such for a fanfic.

Anyway, I'm glad you made a fanfic about the future. It is very interesting as well as fascinating I guess. But we'll see about that.hehe,lol

Resurrection of who?Come on giorgia please tell.Anyway,the story is nice,but about the prophecy.If Arvan is to meet Eragon Shadeslayer,then he should travel to where Eragon is.If Eragon and Arya come back to the accursed land that is Alagaesia,then the prophecy of Angela would have been wrong.As for a critique,the story is nice.Nice grammar,but I don't think that Alagaesians would use the word "kinda".A question.What war happened and why did the elves leave?And when they did,did they take more dragon eggs with them?

Chapter 3

The Child of Destruction

Genesis awoke. It was more quiet than usual. Mother? Then Genesis heard a sobbing.
Shaken with fear he ran to his mothers room. It all seem to be a blur. He barged in his room to see Elva with tears in her eyes.
" I'm sorry... the last thing your mother could say was that she loves you and Arvan with all her heart, It amazes me that in her last moment she defeated the spirit to tell you she loves you."

Genesis did not move. He did not think. Nor did he breathe. M-Mother....
MOTHER!!!!!! "MOOOOOOOTHHEERR!!!!!!" With extreme grief and anger of the spirits role in his mothers death, he sreamed into the night.

Genesis anger was immense,

[i]That Spirit was responsible.....I'm going to rip it apart with my mind. I don't care if it destroys me in the process... [/i

]He had been alone in his secret hideout underneath his home for two weeks. Opening a book of ancient arcane arts, some that were so dark that spells were added to those who read it to go into spasms of fear. "Untha.... Reatha......SINTHEOS!!!!!"

Incredible energy was in his room. He had summoned the most powerful soul that had been in this planet for the last thousand years... Suddenly an old but ominous man enter the room with a great dark light where his heart should be in. The man look around, as if please he had been resurrected. Then the glee in his eyes suddenly turn to rage when he saw what he was.
Genesis spoke "You...you will help me find the spirit who killed my mother...." The soul looked at Genesis, tweaking his goatee. "Then.... Look.... No Farther.... For He Exist Before...You."
Shock...

Anger...

Grief...
These where what Genesis felt to be his last emotions, for the spirit ravaged his mind, bending him to it's will.
Then after what felt like an eternity of pain and struggle, Genesis rose. His eyes, red with hate.
His body, strong with the lust for revenge.
"Galbatorix has rises from the clutches of Death's claws!!!!"

Then Fenister exploded in a ball of fire. Every soul perished. Then gathered. Only one being stood in the smoldering flames of Fenister.
Revenge was the only color of his eyes.

Really good start, can't wait to see where you take this.
One thing, the town was called Feinster not Fenister.
Also, could you space between paragraphs as it is a little difficult to tell where one stops and the next starts.

And yes, very dramatic.

You have an excellent plot going out, just maintain it and you'll go a long way.

You're getting better at portraying emotions. Genisis's anger was expressed just right. Let me get this straight. Elva sensed Genisis's pain of losing his mother to a powerful and evil spirit. He then summons it and it posseses him and turns him into a shade and destroys the city of Feinster. Tell me if I got any of that wrong.

Whoa!! So that's how Galby lives again for revenge.
Hmm..A little fast-paced.I think it's better if you had like a chapter as to how his mother died and why she fought those spirits until her breath could no longer feed her.You know, like a foundation or basis on why Genesis would summoned those spirits eventhough he knew it would only destroys him.But still, it is just the start.

Again, a bit more work in emotions although you're getting better.There's always room for improvement right?
And careful with the grammar.

Anyway, did the Feinster was like destroyed including Elva?And why couldn't she helped Genesis to overcome his grief?Even just give him some sort of words-of-comfort.As we all know, she can sense someone whose in pain and by that alone, she could somehow helped genesis.

Well, that's your plot and I think I will have the answers shortly after the next chapters are out.
