These two were made for a request from PMurphy.

C&C would be greatly appreciated, as I've been learning a new style, and I think I'm improving.

I like the first one, the colours go really nicely. The smudging in the last 3 isn't that great, and the rest of the sig is a bit bland.

May I ask which brushes you used for smudging?

I agree with the not being so good. The only one I'm really happy with is the first one, as the rest were made with very little inspiration, and when my Internet was shut off, so I had to use what ever resources I had lying around.

For the most part, what looks like brushes are actually abstract stocks, set to screen/multiply.

I used, mainly just a regular 9 circle brush for adding colors, though I did use a nice splatter and galaxy/cloud ones as well.

What do you mean by suspension sig?

I only see a couple of things you need to try out as you further improve.
Firstly, the colours need to go well not only together, but with the render as well. Your current active sig is a great example of how not to do this. No offence intended.
Secondly, the render needs to either fit better in with the rest of the sig or be blended more. A major step to this is what I just mentioned about the colours.
Thirdly, try doing some extra C4D meddling or effects to add something more to the explosion/motion blur type backgrounds. If its crap, don't pursue it.
Lastly, Google for tutorials and try them out. They teach you about new features, effects and techniques that you'll remember and use for other sigs.

Just trying to help. ).gif

Oh, and did Pmurphy get sick of waiting for me and ask you? >.>

IT means that I made them during my most recent week long suspension.

Actually, the colors in my current go well together. It's call complimentary colors. The purple/blue offsets the yellow/orange.

Haha Yea he did.

Yes, the colours in your sig do go well together, although the blue is a bit to dark...

Don't feel you need to churn out sigs with little or no inspiration. I make a sig on average once a week, and usually I have some decent inspiration/whatever. I think that withput knowing what you want to do, it is very hard to make a good sig.

Although saying that, if you see a really cool render, it is very easy to get inspiration....

That's what I did with the Roman Pierce/Tyrese Gibson (2 Fast 2 Furious) render. I just couldn't pass it up.

You don't have to churn out mass produced sigs like a machine. That way you get very little variety and little improvement via your own experimentation, which is essential in developing your own style.

I make one sig every two months, ish. I piss around loads, but never end up with a finished product unless I like it.
