in eragon, arya was transporting her egg with two male elves. in eldest, she talked to eragon abt one of them but refused to discuss the other. eragon noticed that she looked upset. could it be because one of the elves that died was a man she loved? maybe that's one of the reasons she spurned eragon's advances, because she's still mourning her lover's death.

personaly I think that the young elf may be a lover of some sort but I think that the other dude that she wouldn't talk about maybe betrade her and the other guy and that's why she's upset because he may have played and and made her think he loved her until she ganed his trust but then he betrayed her and the oterh guys to durza or something.

No, that is not correct... The twins betrayed them (sorry if spoiler but that my guess based on stuff from Eldest).
I'm 100% sure Arya liked Faolin, wheather it be love I don't know. She is still mourning his death untill Eragon goes and talks to her in her room, that is when I believe she get's over Faolin.

Cun yo speal or isn't yo gud with english?
What are you trying to say? That since he's not in Eldest that he was Arya's lover? That's not a good reason and I believe that I've (everyone has) stated much better ones so read the posts above yours.

The bold stuff is my guess. It just seems that during that whole conversation, Arya is slowly putting Faolin aside and letting go of her guilty feeling (I believe she feels that if she were with Eragon that would betray Faolin). If you want me to explain it more I might be able to with phrases from the book. It's on pgs. 433-435 if you were wondering.
