Just a little something I whipped up with a picture I had laying around. I don't know if the concept was clear enough.

Our Appearance

It seems that nowadays, the majority of people are obsessed with the way the day. It is something that is impossible to escape. There are so many outside influences like the media, parents who willingly endorse it, and peer pressure that by the time a child hits puberty, looks start to mean almost everything.

When I was younger, maybe four or five years ago, my mom use to berate me constantly about my weight and what I ate even though I was never fat. There was a point where I was actually afraid of eating in front of her. I still stress a lot more than necessary over my weight. I know it's absurd because I am naturally on the thin side and have always been a size zero, but I just never really gotten over it. Fortunately, I love to eat and would never be able to go for more than few hours without putting food in my mouth.

People are under a lot of pressure to look good—being thin, tan, having nice hair, wearing the latest clothes, makeup, etc. equals beautiful and being beautiful equals happiness. And it's that delusion that leads to eating disorders and using tanning beds and all kinds of other seriously unhealthy habits and illnesses that can greatly impact your health in a negative way.

List of Minor Characters

As we all know, Inheritance Cycle, has tons, and I mean, tons of minor characters that only appear like once or twice in the entire story and quite many of them have their own individual article which makes absolutely no sense since they have literally three words in their description. So I thought, why not just compile them together into one article with one big alphabetized list with a little description of what where they appeared in the story and what we know about them for the sake of simplicity. It would make things a lot more convenient too, since I often see minor characters being brought up in the discussions and then people going "Wait, who?".

So starting now, whenever I get a chance, I'll be working on this and if any of you would like to contribute any information on any character, it would be really appreciated.

Fly away home

A product of my possible insomnia. I got the birds thing from a wallpaper I had and the background and the moon and the stars was mostly from scratch with the help of a cloud brush and the dodge/burn tool. It feels like it's missing something but considering that I could barely type my name properly when I made this, I think it's not too bad. I may need to fix the wings a bit.
