Awesome looking new sci-fi film produced by none other than Peter Jackson of the LOTR films. Trailer One Trailer Two I actually think it looks pretty amazing. D: Anyone else? And why is there no thread for this yet? XD

For the basis of such a successful musical and film, the book doesn't seem very well known. :-/ Sad, because, in my opinion, tis much better than any of the films or the musical versions. There are differences in plot and in characters as well as may details that are lost in the other versions. Tis definitely one of my favorites now, if not my favorite, period.
I don't even think I like the film anymore . . . DX

She has a lot of talent, in my opinion. I'm really happy with her CD, I love just about all of her songs. Gravity and City are beautiful, Love Song and Bottle it Up are amusing and fun, and I love Come Round Soon. Any one else listen to her music? Thoughts?

Musical geniuses, in my opinion.
![]() Oklahoma!, Carousel, State Fair, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music were all masterpieces. Yes, they are plays too, but I'm discussing the films so there. Anywho, I used to have them all, but over the years it's narrowed down to Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, and The Sound of Music. Hmm. I grew up with these films and, frankly, I love them. Grodon MacRea from Oklahoma! and Carousel kills me, amazing vocalist. Any other fans of the films? Which ones and why? My favorite list: 1. Carousel 2. Oklahoma! and Sound of Music are tied. DX 3. The King and I 4. State Fair 5. South Pacific The fact that I just watched Carousel about 5 times has little or nothing to do with the creation of this topic.
