War of Olympus

Percy had just exited the main hall of Camp Half-Blood, deep in thought. He walked to the boundaries of the camp, where the golden fleece hung in it's glory from Thalia's tree. Percy sat down at the base of the tree, and put his hand on his forehead, sighing.

"Percy, what's the matter?" Percy heard somebody ask him. It was his wife, Annabeth.

"Nothing Ann, I just don't know how we handle this situation. You and I certainly can't take on this challenge, and yet, I can't thrust the lives of those campers into a quest with the stakes so high." Percy told her miserably.

"And is not true that we were thrust with the job to defeat Kronos? And at such a young age at that?" Annabeth replied.

"Yes but -"

"No buts Percy, you know what needs to be done. I've already informed Rachel, she'll be waiting for us when the time is right. It is up to us to show the new half-bloods their duties. These 7 shall surpass us one day, which is why they need to be given responsibilities." Annabeth told him.

"I hate it when you're right." Percy mumbled.

"I am Athena's daughter you know." Annabeth retorted jokingly.

"Of course, who else could rebuild New York City with Root Beer fountains added in? Now we had best get back to camp and gather up the 7 half-bloods."

Percy and Annabeth walked back to camp, and had the messenger half-bloods send each of the cabin leaders from the Poseidon, Hades, Zeus, Apollo ,Athena ,Hephaestus, and Dionysus cabins. The Ares and Aphrodite Cabins had shunned the other cabins, and so did the minor god cabins. Percy, Annabeth and the others did not trust them, except for Clarisse, who decided to side with her fellow siblings.

Once all 7 campers were gathered, Percy began to speak.

Blitz had just completed a sparring match with a cabin member from the Athena cabin, and had gone back to the cabin to freshen up. There, he found Greiger and Lucas playing a children's card game.

"Is that the game elder brother Percy's friend Nico showed you two?" He implored.

"No, it's a new, cooler one from Japan," Greiger replied.

"Well, have fun with that," Blitz replied, as he went to the cabin sink and washed his face. Just as he was drying himself off, Lucy rushed into the cabin.

"What is is Lucy?" Lucas asked her identical twin sister.

"I have . . . a message . . . for Blitz." She panted, out of breath from running so fast.

"What's the matter Lucy?" Blitz asked as he put his towel away and headed towards his younger siblings.

"Elder brother Percy . . . he wants to see immediately." She told him. "He told me to make haste."

"Was I the only one called?" Blitz implored.

"Yeah, he had six other messengers bring 6 other campers too. You really should hurry, it seems important." Lucy replied.

Blitz fingered the golden sea shell at his neck, thinking about how the past few nights he had been having hazy nightmares. All he could remember from them was that a dark hand was rising from a huge black pit, and outstretched it's hand towards Blitz. He could hear maniacal laughing from the pit, and fog was surrounding. Just as the hand was about to grab him and drag him down into the pit, Blitz awoke in a cold sweat.

Snapped out his trance by Lucy, he grabbed his favorite red jacket and headed towards the main hall.

Once he reached there, he saw there were already a few campers there, he noticed they were all cabin leaders.

This is going to be more interesting that I thought.

Just as the last cabin leader sat down, Percy rose from the table, and addressed each of the cabin leaders by their names, addressing Blitz last.

"Now, I've assembled the 7 of you here today for a very special reason. Now listen up, for what I'm about to tell you is of the utmost importance, and is extremely classified. The stakes are very high, and if you mess up, there may be no second chances." Percy said.

OOC: So yeah guys, I held true to my promise.

I want you guys to just start off living your daily life, doing everything like you normally would, when your cabin messenger tells you you're needed, and come to the hall. Once 3-4 of your have posted, I'll add the next part.

Here are my characters:

Name: Percy Jackson

Personality: Percy is a laid back type of person, but is not ever too weary to help out someone. He is witty and sarcastic, but is a nice person. His fatal flaw is that he puts his own life at risk for the sake of others' lives, and does not believe in sacrifices that can be avoided.

History: It was through the combined efforts of Percy and his friends that they were able to defeat Kronos, and end the first battle of Olympus of the new era. After the first battle of Olympus, he went back to live with his mother and her fiance, who ultimately got married with her and became Percy's stepfather. After finishing High School, Percy went to Stanford College in California with Annabeth. Once he was done, he got a degree in Marine Biology, and Annabeth got a degree in architecture. They were married a year after graduating, and currently have a 3 year-old son named Luke. Since Percy and Annabeth are mostly busy, Percy with helpin out in Camp Half-Blood, and Annabeht in rebuilding New York, Percy's mom is the one who takes care of Luke most of the time.

Weapons of choice: Anaklumos, also known as Riptide in English. The pen, that when uncapped, becomes a sword, and after a time will always return to his pocket. It is made of celestial bronze, and can harm monsters and demigods, but not mortals. It can even hurt the gods themselves.

Miscellaneous: He stands tall at 6 feet 6 inches, and has a sturdy, muscular build.

Age 17 (going to be 18 in a few days and is the oldest cabin leader)

Personality: Blitz is the type of person who stands up for other people. He's gotten into numerous fights with the Ares cabin and Aphrodite Cabin for bullying around other campers and shunning them. He can be a bit hot-headed in extreme cases, but is cool and witty most of the time. He taunts the two cabins with his witty remarks and sarcasm.

History: Blitz was only 11 when he first came to Camp Half-Blood. He wa able to see right through the Mist, and seemed unperturbed by his surroundings there. All he came with there was a picture of an elderly woman, a bag full of important things from his childhood, and the clothes on his back.

The camp elders thought he was just a mortal who could see through the mist at first, for at such a young age, his half-blood energy wasn't strong enough for monsters and satyrs to sense. Having no other choice, Chiron placed the boy in the only empty cabin at the time, the Poseidon Cabin.

Percy comes back to Camp Half-Blood about two years later after he graduates from College at Chiron's request, and sees Blitz. He suspects that Blitz himself is a half-blood. Percy begins to observe Blitz as he does missions for the camp with Nico, and sometimes Clarisse. After a year of closely observing him, Percy goes to the Summer Solstice meeting at Mount Olympus, and requests the gods to claim Blitz, since Percy believes the 13 year-old is a half-blood. Poseidon then realizes that Blitz was his son, and he was so busy with rebuilding his underwater kingdom that he forgot about his son.

Percy gets back to the camp, and right on Blitz's 14th birthday, he is claimed by Poseidon, and is gifted with a golden shell that he wears around his neck, just like the one Percy received for his 18th birthday and wears around his neck as well. Another two children were found to be children of Poseidon. They were identical twins, age 13, just 2 years younger than Blitz. After turning 16, another half-blood appeared, a boy age 14. When Blitz turns 15, Percy relinquishes his title as Poseidon cabin leader, and, and makes Blitz the new leader.

He's gotten into numerous fights with the Ares cabin and Aphrodite Cabin for bullying around other campers and shunning them. He can be a bit hot-headed in extreme cases, but is cool and witty most of the time. He taunts the two cabins with his witty remarks and sarcasm. After a nasty incident between the Poseidon cabin and Ares cabin, Blitz and three other Poseidon cabiners against 15 ares cabiners had a small battle. It ended with Ares fleeing back to their camp while the head of the cabin was battling Blitz. He was defeated, and fled back to the Ares Cabin.

Blitz is now one of the most influential campers at the camp, and is a role-model for younger half-bloods. Though, he is despised by the Aphrodite and Ares cabins.

Weapons of choice: A longsword made of celestial bronze, gifted to him for his 14th birthday by Percy himself, right after Poseidon showed that Blitz was his child. The sword can be retraced into the hilt, which then folds together to become pocket-able, though the sword has no use when it is in its compacted form.When his sword does come in handy, he uses a twin set of daggers made with celestial bronze that could fit stealthy practically anywhere on his body without being noticeable. These dagger were gifted to him after he proved himself by working for Annabeth Jackson, the architect of New York City.

Miscellaneous Blitz is nimble and thin, but has enough muscle to be a formidable opponent to any enemy. He relies on his stealth, and once given the opportunity, he strikes with full force. Blitz has green-gray eyes, and stands tall at 6 feet 2 inches.

20 years have passed since the last battle of Olympus, where Perseus Jackson and his band of half-bloods came together to defend Olympus from the wrath of Kronos and his army of evil creatures. At the end of the battle, Percy Jackson is given a choice, he can either become an immortal minor god, or he can stay a half-blood. Percy makes the choice to stay a half-blood, and leaves Olympus a hero.

Now, 20 years after the events of the Last Olympian, and camp half-blood has never seen such traffic of Half-Bloods. There are now over 20 cabins, with new half-bloods being found virtually almost everyday. Percy Jackson and his long-time friend Annabeth Chase married, and both have pledged themselves for Camp Half-Blood. Percy, Nico, and others have joined together to create an elite team of Olympian monster hunters.

There is unrest in Olympus, the gods have begun to quarrel over amongst one another, for they have become cocky with none to challenge their authority, for there are no threats to them or their children. Poseidon and Hades have returned to their homes, and the minor gods have begun to grow weary of the eternal recognition bestowed upon the major gods. Artemis has gone to look over her hunters, while Athena helps reconstruct New York with Annabeth. Hephaestus has gone back to the ranch, and Ares and Aphrodite have been roaming the US. This leaves Olympus virtually empty. The gods have become cocky and believe that without them Olympus is safe.

The keepers of Typhon's dungeon at the bottom of the Ocean have begun to succumb to insanity. Poseidon has become worried, and attempts to call a council at Olympus, but the gods are too busy to take notice, and Zeus criticizes Poseidon for being paranoid. Convinced that something is amiss, Poseidon goes to the dungeons of Typhon. There, he finds Typhon cackling in malice. Poseidon tries to find out what Typhon is cackling about, but all he says is that the gods shall soon fall, and the true lords of Olympus shall rise again. He has a feeling something wrong is going to happen, and notifies his eldest son, Percy, about what he had heard.

Percy then makes his way back to Camp Half-Blood to discuss Typhon's words with Chiron and the Oracle, his old friend Rachel Elizabeth Dare. But, to his horror, when he arrives at Camp Half-Blood, he sees a battle ensue. The cabins of the minor gods and Ares and Aphrodite fight against the other 10 cabins. Percy is able to break up the battle, and sends each cabin group back their own respective cabins.

Just as Percy thinks things are soon going to settle down, he gets a distress signal from Nico, telling him that the creatures have begun to mobilize again, and there was a full blown monster riot in San Francisco. At the same time, Percy gets an message from his empathy link with Grover, who tells him that monsters had begun abducting half-bloods that Satyrs were looking for.

With the events looking grim, Percy remembers the prophecy he heard from Rachel 15 long years ago. When he arrives, he consults the oracle within her, and hears the prophecy once more.



Percy believes the Doors of Death is Tartarus, and he assembles a team of seven half-bloods to go to the underworld and see if there is a problem, for Percy fears the lord of time, Kronos, may attempt to rise in the underworld again. He calls upon seven half-blood campers to take on the great prophecy, while he and the elder half-bloods went to control the battle with the creatures.

Here is how the characters will be set up, we will have two stories going on, one for the new half-bloods, and one for the old , but going on at the same time, just so that we can still get a feeling of the old Percy Jackson characters. I'll probably only allow people to have the old half-bloods if I know they will be good RPers, or if they promise to take on two characters, like me.

I can always edit the prophecy to have more players, and if we have more people wanting Athena, and Hermes and Apollo aren't chosen, I can edit the amount of campers going to the cabin. This plot isn't set in stone yet, so don't worry about you not being able to join.

By the way, you can't play as Ares or Aphrodite because they are against the gods of Olympus.

Favorite mobile Operating System (Cell Phones)

So recently, after doing some extensive research (basically just demos) of Android, Mobile OS X, and the new Web OS, I want to know which, which one is IF's favorite from the list at the top? And why is it your favorite and/or the best?

I'm right now looking at two laptops, and I can't decide which one is better. I care for looks just as much as specs, which is why I can't make up my mind on this one. Which one is better?

The Asus N70SV-X1 or the Asus G50VT-X6?

I care for design and specs for both, so which one would be better for me?
