I'm the lead (well...only) battle sprite designer for FEK, where we are designing a new Fire Emblem game that is to take place before FE7 (the one with Lyn, Eliwood, and Hector). I've been spriting for a while so it will be quite an extensive first post (I'll leave out minor edits and recolors). You can find the forum at s1.zetaboards.com/fe_project_ii

Mounted Knight (standing)

Elbert, Eliwood's dad (standing)

Promoted Elbert (critical attack, WIP)

Really awesome sprites, they really work well. Nice job, classic fire emblem feel.

Well I could make an FE1 sprite and go REALLY classic...

Thanks, too. I really wish they would make more FE's with sprites instead of models

That's what he said.

Is this one from Tales of Symphonia?

No, that's just Roy from the Fire Emblem 6 (the one before "Fire Emblem") and I just recolored it

I don't really understand this. What do you mean by using a hack? If you mean I hacked the game to make the sprite. No, I used Paint and Pro-motion to splice from other GBA Fire Emblem mugs and create it

The Fire Emblem on the PC is pretty much hacked up. People have been making their games, charries, and maps. I thought you might have used one. But it seems you didn't, so that's even better. =]

I see. Looks exactly like Lloyd, though. Why are video game characters all the same these days?

Most of these look like recolors, but nice job on the edited/custom ones. The colors seem a bit too contrasting, though. A tip: never use default colors or strait white or black. Nice job on the self-portrait. You might want to check out FES.

And you should check out http://z15.invisionfree.com/Fire_Emblem_Sp...c=7733&st=0 >_>

And I really don't see the Lloyd in Roy >_< And that was just a request for somebody, so that's why I didn't really spend a whole lot of time on colors. Nor do I ever use strait white or black, usually 40,40,40 for outlines or the darkest shade of black (which is pretty much FE standard) and 245,245,245 for white
