Yes, will im quite lost on what to do in the middle. As you can see it looks quite bad in the center. Also note, I am quite new to graphics. Only made around 3-4 signatures before, and this a banner (my first). (I use Adobe Photoshop CS)

I'm don't know very much about graphics, so I don't know how much help I can be, but I think maybe there's something wrong with the color in the center. Maybe that's why you don't like it. It's just a little to neutral, and doesn't really make you look at it. Since it's in the middle it should be the focal point, and right now the color's too bland.

Also I think maybe you should make some of the red lines to the right go a little further behind the center figure (I hope you understand what I mean with that). And Some of the blue lines to the left go in front of the figure, to make a more gradual overlap.

I think the banner looks rather good, especially if you're a beginner. It's not very original or anything, but still..

I agree with LG. The color is a little bit off in the center. The sig actually looks pretty good for only being your 4th attempt. You should have seen the first sigs I made. *shudder* I use Photoshop CS as well, and I'm probably an intermediate sig maker. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.

Maybe you should try adding some sort of image or a different kind of brush to the center. Since you used two different colors, it might be a little difficult to find something that matches them. Looking at it again, maybe if you just changed the color of the center design it would look a lot better. I can see that you have a little blue over on the red side, which looks cool. Maybe make the purple (I think it's purple) red. That way you'll have balance on both sides. I usually don't make sigs that are just brushes, so I'm sorry if my suggestions are a little vague.

I first had an image, but it didn't fit at all. I tried to make a mix of color in the middle, and it ending up being that. I knew the color was bad, but I just cant decide what to put there p.gif

Gah, I don't know either. And I really love the way the banner turned out, so I'd hate for it to be scrapped. Maybe you could try making it a dark blue instead of a color mix? That might look better.

Is that a brush set that you used? If so, where did you get it from?

Also, I think some of the problem is that it's a little too transparent (only the element in the middle). Maybe if you increased the opacity?
