As for your sig, I think it looks pretty awesome. I'm an intermediate when it comes to graphics, so the stuff you make is waaaay above my level. The only thing that might need improvement is the lighting in the middle/right. It looks like there's a big blotch of bright light, and it's kind of distracting. Maybe just darken it just a little bit. Other than that, it looks great.

Yes, as Ally said, lighten up some bits and maybe make the background more unreal and visual.

Ok IMO I would Remove text and maybe do something to the light source, keep the darkness of the sig (which imo isnt too dark at all, though when people look from different monitors they can sometimes see very diff colours and contrast).
Other then that the tag looks pretty awesome, I would like to see a BnW too.
