These are my first two sigs ever.
Any C&C would be greatly appreciated.

Pixel
Well I think the first one is better because the second one has the guy with yellow hair that doesn't exactly fit into the color them. Also, you can sort of see a distinct line to the right of that blue guy; like you pasted the picture there, and just smudged the line it created a little.

Still, a good first signature! I like the background, and the colors match pretty well in the first signature.
pityonmurtagh
I don't know why it turned out like that, I used scissors to cut him out, I'll try working on it. Thanks for the help!

I tried messing with the colors and added another guy, I think he fits more with the color scheme. What do you think?

I also made this one.
Pixel
Nah, I still think you should have only the dark blue person, and remove the purple guy. Also, having one subject in a signature (Or in some cases, two subjects together) gives you a good focus. If there are too many things going on, people will think it's too busy, which is how your second one turned out. Maybe you should just have one of those people there, and add a background so it's not so plain and white.

In the first one, I'm not sure how to get rid of that line. Theres a specific tool to do it I'm sure, but I don't know which. I think you should just experiment. I really like the background in this one though, how did you get it?
Palagrin
Crop, maybe? And I agree with pixel.
pityonmurtagh
I just googled C4D renders. A lot of things like that came up. Here I found it again. Use it if you want.
Palagrin
Google is probably picking up the word render. Get an planet render account, they have some cool stuff.
pityonmurtagh
I'll be sure to check that out, thanks for the tip. I took your advices into consideration and came up with this. I rather like it. What do you think?
Palagrin
The colours are a bit iffy, IMO.
pityonmurtagh
How so?
Palagrin
Clashes a bit to much. Don't change anything, wait until someone agrees, this is only my instinct!
Kari&Gatomon
Well, they're very VERY good for your first tries.

I agree with Pixel about the first; Trunks sticks out too much. Try to blend them in a little better.

Same thing goes for the second. As soon as I see that sig, my eye is drawn to Goku, and I don't see the rest. Look at your current sig. More of a balance.
To explain in better words, the background and render complement each other. While the colors DO go with the render, tit doesn't really stand out, sort of.. empty.
pityonmurtagh
Thank you. I'll try to work on that. I did a bit better work in my other thread, but for my first tries, I'm rather proud considering I dowloaded gimp last night.
Kari&Gatomon
As you should be. p.gif I remember my first try following a tut. Well.... XD
pityonmurtagh
There a tutuorials? I didn't even read any.

I simplified it a bit, and fixed that annoying line. Opinions?
pmurphy21
Like I said in one of your other topics, check out my topic. There are a couple links there that will help out a lot. There are tons of tuts to use.
pityonmurtagh
I looked at it, it helped some.
I also made this one.

I think it's my favorite DBZ one yet.
BeefStew
The blending is bad, try to learn some new effects instead of duplication and stuff. then, try to blend the focal into the sig, not make it feel slapped on. The duplicate in the bg doesnt work and neither does the text, try removing it, it's not necessary for a sig.

All in all, it's too simple, read some tuts which teach you how to make some effects and blend in the focal.
pityonmurtagh
I'll try to work on it.
EC is better than CP
Not bad. I still like the very first one more.
pityonmurtagh
I tried doing some other stuff besides duplication and I made these.

The first one of gohan is not good, but the second one just looks like a screen shot.
