C&C pleasio

The text is pooop, I know...

Aw, I think that would be so much better if his face was more clear. And maybe the left side shouldn't be a big black splotch. Some more blue there would be nice.
Kari&Gatomon
OR, if you keep the black, which isn't bad, blend it in a bit better, it looks too sudden. Add some blue shadows, maybe?

Also, yeah, text color's good, but maybe make it smaller?

Most of his face was already quite dark...But I hope the slight difference helps.

I got rid of it, I didn't like it.

Hmmm... it's all very messy, you've smudged, distorted, and erased the c4ds, and put them at lower opacities, and it all doesnt look good when put together. Try to place the c4ds/effects in a more... aesthetic (p.gif) way, that looks good and has flow as well, since here the flow is distorted by the smudging and erasing. Also, voldie doesnt blend well into the bg, mainly around the right side of his face... blending was a huge problem for me sometime back, and I just kept practicing, so I can't give you advice on how to blend the render/stock generally... The lighting is nice, but it's all very flat, you should try dodge/burns and blurs/sharpens.

try working on some smaller canvases, and using less effects, it'll help with the messiness, and try to avoid smudging/erasing c4ds in this kinda style, as it doesnt look all that great. You could also try going for a simple look with the effects, just try to keep it less messy.

I like that you're trying something different though, keep experimenting.

I agree with BeefStew. I think it looks really rough and needs to be smoothed out, and his face is really annoying me. I think it needs to be clearer as someone else said.
I like the colouring though, and it looks better without the writing.
Keep working on it, and Im sure it will turn out great. D.gif

First thing that I noticed was a line like border next to the text. It is actually rather distracting.

The duplicated shadow effect is ok, but I think you need to get rid of the effects on his face. Get rid of the smudging and spatter effects on his face and then sharpen his face up with yer sharpen tool.

Cool, thank you guys, I think I've nailed the background:

The background had deffinately improved. You've done well with changing it. Right, now his face. People have been saying its blury, etc etc, whch I also did up there I reckon, but theres something that is annoying about it and v. destracting. theres a very thin line/glow along the right hand side of his face. I reminds me of a 3-d comic and how the red and blue colours are a shadow maybe? I donk know, something like that. I think it should be darkened, smudged, or removed, that might fix the face alot. The background looks alot better though.

I can't see the yellow.....Are you sure?
