I think Boromir's face doesn't hold enough weight, so your eyes automatically travel to the left, but there's nothing there... You could try using a different pic of him, or through the words on the left side...

His face seems rather round. It looks odd, somehow.

I agree with HJP, Boromir doesn't draw any attention. He blends way too much.

I think I'm just gonna chuck it.

Oh well...
