Well, here is *another* websire layout...It came about mainly because the other one I ddn't have the right hand bar. So here is version 2.

Notes:
-The header is not complete. It is in the very early stages
-navigation is still to come. If you have any ideas, please state!
-This is the view in firefox
-I want to add borders and various other eye candy later

C&C away!

What is the text of?
Palagrin
It's lorem ipsum, it's made up so it has the same ireregularities of normal text, but just doesn't mean anything. Wiki it.
pityonmurtagh
Ohh.

It looks good, but I would change the color of the text to something less...I don't know the word for it. Obtrusive?
Palagrin
Well; it has to have q high contrast, it is a website after all....And the colours do work well, sooo....

Do comment more, I might not reply because I'm in frqnce xD
pityonmurtagh
I agree with you, but something like a bright turquoise, might make it look better.

Aw, I really liked the banner of the last layout.

I personally don't like it when text is against an image background, no matter how blurry the image is; I feel it's too distracting. I prefer single-block colour backgrounds.

Yeah, I was thinking on what to do with the background. I spose single colour will be the best option.

Haha, I tried to read it to see if I could recognize any word from some language.

I think the banner may be too large. But it is a nice picture which shouldn't be cut off. Is it possible to change it's size?

It's made up, so I would be worried if you did...

I thought it was derived from a book by Cicero... most of it is Latin, as my friend who takes Latin is telling me. =P

The only thing that really bothers me is the color of the background. The turquoise seems too green to match the rest of the color scheme.
