I haven't done anything is quite a while, but I have learned quite a bit. Taking all that into consideration, I made this. I'm trying to break away from the whole anime rut that I've been in.

Hmm...did you draw the bubblegum? And change the colour of the hair/skin? If so, then good work thumbup.gif Only crit I can think of is why is parts of her hair blurred? I can understand that you may want to lose a bit of focus below the head, but then why is her fringe blurred question.gif?

Other than that, great job!

The bubble was already there, but It was literally just a circle. The rest of it I did by hand, from the pink to the drawing. But you have to zoom to really see the detail.).gif

THe hair was jet black, so I did change that, and I tried out some lighting effects I learned from Zenron's Tut.

I'm not sure of why I blurred it, I just thought it'd look good. I blurred the bottom though, to put the focus on the Bubble, like you said.

This is your first go at the style of photo manipulation right? It is good, but there could be a little more to it, the effects in the sig are lacking. You have a good focal point here. It is positioned right, and it stands out, so it ticks all the boxes.

You just need to remember to do more. It just that white backgrounds and large blocks of colour don't look too good. It's called negative space, and while it can look good in some places, having most of it being negative space can make the sig look boring.

You would be right. I've mostly done sigs from scratch with Renders pulled typically from Planetrenders.

I really took into consideration the Rule Of Thirds bit in your guide, as well as the lighting an composition parts. I owe you big time for that guide. ).gif

I'm not sure of what I could put there though. James had suggested putting more bubbles in the space, but it was meant to focus just on the one big one.

it's not too bad, but the hand at the bottom is a little strange. I'm not quite sure what it's there for. The set up is pretty good though, and it fits with the SOTW theme.

It was just part of the original photo I used. I thought it looked good there, s I didn't block it out. I thought it felt too empty on the lower half without anything there. Kind of like a border, of sorts.
