Hi,

I'm asking you for help because I've got two PC's with their own monitors.

My windows machine is connected to a Optiquest Q9 19" monitor.

My Mac Box is connected to BenQ 22" screen.

Now, here comes the problem, I draw on OpenCanvas the image below as a Background for my Mac. But when I copied it to my Mac it looked worse than horrible. And when I adjusted it for the Mac, cpying it back to my Windows machine made it look nearly black.

Now, I want to know on which of my Monitors I can rely if I want to make an image for another. So I ask you to telll me wich of the images looks better for you (in means of color).

This is the one that looks good on the Optiquest (Monitor1 for the Poll):

And this the one that looks good on the Mac:

This probably should be in Comp and Tech, but since it's not...

It really depends on your preference. I like the second one, because the colors are more vibrant.

No it isn't my preference. Picture 1 and 2 look identic on both Mac and PC... Well, this means, picture 1 on Win looks the same like number 2 on Mac...

It's weird. But it seems to depend on the monitors...

I think you've just got some screwed settings, There's a minimal difference in the brightness on my monitor. Not enough to have it even close to black.

The one on the Windows machine looks a bit washed out. Mac one looks better on my computer.

I'll agree with pom. XD The colors are more alive, and Flamedramon looks better that way. XD

Yay for Pom Poms. XD

On my monitor at least, the second looks better.
